Avalokiteshvara.
He is the first bodhisattva of the Western Elysium, expressing the great compassion of all Buddhas, so he is the most earnest one to save the world. Because of the avoidance of Tang Taizong.
Li Shimin's obscurity, later referred to as Guanyin Bodhisattva, his image has many differences. One is the statue of the Holy Goddess of Mercy, just a song with two arms, sitting on the knees, holding a lotus flower or a statue of the dignity of the seal, and there is a statue of Amitabha Buddha in the crown of heaven.
There is also a 'Statue of Goddess of Mercy', which is a very comfortable image with one foot crossed and one foot drooping. Next to the statue there may be a pure bottle, full of nectar, and willow branches are inserted in the bottle, symbolizing Guanyin to sprinkle the world with great compassion nectar. There is a boy and a girl statue on both sides of the statue of Guanyin, and the virgin is a dragon girl, because the Lotus Sutra Devadattapin" says that there is a story of the dragon girl becoming a Buddha, and Guanyin lives in the South China Sea Putuo Luojia Mountain, so there is a legend of "the dragon girl worships Guanyin".
The boy is the boy of good wealth.
Because of the Huayan Sutra
It is said that in order to seek the Dharma, the boy of good wealth consulted 53 good knowledge, among which he once consulted Guanyin Bodhisattva and received teachings.
The eleven-sided Guanyin is a blind face, turning evil into love; Two kind faces, turn kindness and affection; The three silent surfaces turn out of the world's pure karma. These three sides educate the three realms, and there are nine sides. There is a violent smile on the nine faces, which means that the cause of education needs great majesty and great will to be able to achieve flawlessness.
There is a Buddha face at the top, which means that all of the above is always convenient for becoming a Buddha.
Thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Guanyin is commonly known as the Buddha of Thousand Hands, which is wrong. A thousand watches support sentient beings, and a thousand eyes look at the world, both of which are manifestations of great compassion.

The difference between a Buddha and a bodhisattva is: different status, different levels of enlightenment, different images, different pursuits, and different original meanings.
1. Different status.
The status of a Buddha is higher than that of a bodhisattva or an arhat, and it is the first level of fruition that can be attained through practice. From arhat to bodhisattva, and then from bodhisattva to Buddha, Buddhahood is the highest goal of all Buddhist practitioners.
2. The level of consciousness is different.
When you become a Buddha, you will have a heavenly world of your own. The Buddha also had great compassion, so he preached the Dharma to the world and saved sentient beings to his world.
3. The image is different.
Buddha: A small hair knot on the head (Buddha snail hair), there are exceptions: the King of the Earth Bodhisattva and the Maitreya Buddha have a bald head, and the Buddha is more masculine.
Bodhisattva: Usually wearing a hat or headscarf on his head, which is more feminine.
4. Pursue differences.
The Bodhisattva pursues the killing of the three corpses, and the integration of the Heavenly Dao into an immortal body, while the Buddha advocates not being stained with red dust, not staining cause and effect, having no desires, and achieving boundless relics.
5. The original meaning is different.
In ancient Chinese myths and legends, Buddha refers to characters who are "omnipotent, transcendent from reincarnation, jumping out of the Three Realms, and immortal".
The Bodhisattva said: "Jumping out of the Three Realms and not in the Five Elements" is also a god, a god is a person who has attained the Tao, a saint who is true to the Great Dao, moving and invisible, in and out of nothing, immortal and immortal.

According to legend, his birthday is the 19th day of the second lunar month, the enlightenment day is the 19th day of the 6th month of the lunar calendar, the day of Nirvana is the 19th day of the 9th month of the lunar calendar, and the Dharma dojo is Putuo Mountain. The belief in Guanyin has a far-reaching influence in China, resulting in various folk legends about Guanyin Bodhisattva, such as the widely spread saying that Guanyin is the third princess of the king of Xinglin Miaozhuang, Princess Miaoshan.
The practice of a bodhisattva
The actions that a bodhisattva practices are called bodhisattva actions. All the rituals related to the Bodhisattva are called the Dharma Rites of the Bodhisattva.
