A native of Tiantai County, Zhejiang, the Zen monk Jigong was born in Tiantai Chengguan, he is good at poetry and writing, and is respected as a "living Buddha" by the people. Now, there is a Jigong Pavilion at the head of the stone wall of Jigong's birthplace, and there is a "Jigong Buddhist Temple" in Chicheng Mountain, where Jigong Juvenile Reading is located. The Sanskrit Palace Taoist Institute not only adds color to the victory, but also makes Tiantai Mountain gain the reputation of "the source of Buddhism".
According to the records of books such as "Tiantai Mountain Fangwaizhi" and "Jingci Temple Chronicle", Jigong's name is Daoji, and the word Huyin is hidden. His father, Li Maochun, was a descendant of Song Gaozong Li Yuma. Mother Wang, dreamed of swallowing the sun and gave birth to Jigong.
When he was eighteen years old, his parents died one after another, so he followed the Zen master of Lingyin Temple, and left home. When he was mad, he was addicted to wine and meat, and the monks in the temple accused him. But the blind hall said:
Buddhism is vast, can't it accommodate a monk? From then on, they called him Jidian. After the blind hall passed away, Ji Dian came to Jingci Temple.
One night in the fourth year of Jiatai in the Southern Song Dynasty (1204 AD), Ji Dian seemed to be drunk but not drunk, and shouted eagerly around the corridor, but the monks could not hear it, and only felt inexplicable. After a while, the fire broke out, the Buddhist temple was in flames, and the Xionglou Jie Pavilion turned into ashes. Jidian raised his own funds and rebuilt the treasure temple.
He came to Yanling, brought his robe, and actually shrouded all the green mountains, and the tall trees and giant trees on the mountains were immediately uprooted, and floated out of the river. Ji Dian told the monks that the timber used to build the temple had arrived in the incense well in the temple. It took a lot of effort for the six strong men to hook out the giant trees one by one, piling them up like a mountain.
The temple supervisor asked for a reward of money, and Ji Dian hurriedly excused himself and said: "I am the god of the door, why do I want your reward?" "Let's go with the wind.
He passed away five years later. Before dying, he wrote a poem: In the past sixty years, the east wall has defeated the west wall.
Now that he has cleaned up, he is still blue. After writing, he threw his pen and passed away, and was buried in Hangzhou Tiger Run.

Jujingci Temple, Huofa Temple is destroyed, Jixing turns into a strict tomb, covers the mountains with a robe, the mountains and trees are pulled out, and the floating river comes out.
The people in the temple said: "The wood is in the incense well." "The six husbands hooked it out, and the god of Rokko was also.
On his deathbed, the teacher said: "In the past 60 years, the east wall has knocked down the west wall. Now that I have cleaned up, I am still blue.
After the extinction, there are monks who meet under the Liuhe Tower, and return to the book, and there is "an arrow in front of the past, and I still feel cold bones." Just because no one knows his face, he walks to the rooftop again". One of the five hundred should be true to cover the rooftop.

In the historical records, there is indeed a monk who, before becoming a monk, was surnamed Li and called Xiuyuan. And after this person became a monk, the Dharma name was "Daoji". is exactly the same name as Jigong in the TV series.
But it's not as magical as the TV series, and it's alsoThere are no spells and gods
It is mentioned in some historical biographies, there is oneSouthern Song Dynasty monk, law name Daoji。The monk was exposed to Buddhist culture as a child. Because at that time, the monk's family believed in Buddhism for generations.
Under the influence of his family and the influence of Buddhism in Tiantai Mountain. Since I was a child, I had the idea of becoming a monk. In the end, he finally got his wish, and with the continuous improvement of the monk's Buddhism, he finally went to Lingyin Temple to meditate.
This eminent monk speaks and behaves differently than other monks. Behaves weirdly every day, and speaks a bit of gibberish. So some people called him a "mad monk".
But although this high monk wears tattered clothes all day and is a little crazy, his medical skills are very skillful. He often treats the people, walks in the world, and helps the poor. Because of himThe Dharma is profound, and the medicine is brilliant
People slowly thought that the monk was the reincarnation of the Buddhist Arhat.
However, this is only a record of the wild history, in fact, in the real official history, there is oneBaozhi and Jigong are very similar。This monk is a senior monk who has experienced the three dynasties of Song, Qi and Liang. His speech and behavior are also unusual.
When Emperor Wu of Liang was emperor, he prophesied some things. Later, they were all realized one by one in Emperor Wu of Liang. Emperor Wu of Liang recalled the prophecy of this high monk and respected him as a celestial man for a while.
In the end, the monk passed away at the age of 97, ending his life full of magic.
