If someone asks him about the Dharma, he puts the bag down. If you still don't understand what he means, continue to ask again, and he immediately picks up the cloth bag and leaves without looking back. They still didn't pay attention to him, and he laughed.
On March 3 of the second year of Liang Zhenming (916), he passed away on the stone bench under the east of Fenghua Yuelin Temple, leaving a passing note: "Maitreya is a real Maitreya, a doppelganger of tens of billions, always showing the people, and the people of the time do not know themselves." "It was a blessing.
Later, in other states, monks were seen carrying cloth bags. So the four people vied for the image. In the first year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1098), Emperor Zhezong gave the name of the cloth bag monk as "Dingying Master", the abbot of Yuelin Temple in the third year of Chongning in the Northern Song Dynasty (1104) raised the pavilion, the statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva was in the temple, and the Song Huizong gave the pavilion the name "Chongning", and the temple in the world began to worship the cloth bag monk from then on.
