The lotus flower means that the mud is not stained, although it saves sentient beings in reincarnation, and is not stained by the negative karma of greed, hatred, ignorance, etc. in samsara. Gassho is generally a sign of respect, although it saves sentient beings, but respects sentient beings, unlike the powerful people in the world, when they have the ability to help others, they are high and arrogant.

Queen Maya was 10 months pregnant, and one day she led the ladies of the court to roam the Lumbini Gardens. It was the beginning of April, and the wind was beautiful and the life was smooth. The garden is full of fragrant grass, flowers, trees towering, lotus roots sending incense, full of auspicious and festive atmosphere.
After a week of exploring the gardens, Queen Maya rested in the shade of a tree-free tree. When she saw that the branches of the tree were luxuriant, soft and low, and that the flowers and fruits on the tree were bright and fragrant, and that they were fragrant and lovely, she lifted up her hand to pick the flowers and fruits, and the prince was born.
The Buddhist scriptures say that a prince can speak when he is born and walk without support. He shone brightly, his eyes were injected in all directions, and he walked seven steps, and a lotus flower appeared on the ground at each step. For a time, the fragrant wind was scattered, the flowers and rain were colorful, the fairy music was harmonious, and the gods and people praised in unison.
Two springs naturally gushed out of the ground, one cold and one warm, fragrant and pure.
When the King of Pure Rice had a son, he was very happy and named him Siddhartha, which means that when he was born, he had many strange and auspicious meanings.

Life in the world, live a lifetime, will do a lot of things that should or should not be, do good deeds and accumulate virtue at the same time there will be greed and desire, so, after death, there will be dust to dust to return to the earth, the reproduction of contemporary fame and fortune will make people's hearts have dirt, there is too much dust in this world, so that too many people because of interests and blindfold their own beautiful hearts.
For example, the reason why we basically have to take a shower and wash clothes every day is because we are tired outside for a day, and our bodies are stained with mud and dirty, so we need to scrub them.
But do we notice our minds as we scrub? It's just that our appearance is clean, but is there really a wash of our souls?
In our hearts, countless mercenary, quick success, selfishness, and countless interests blind our hearts. And that's just for us in the world.
As far as the Buddha is concerned, it does not exist in the human world, he is in a blissful world in the West, so my Buddha does not live in the human world and does not have these so-called interests and so on, so the Buddha has reached a state of awakening, his mind has been completely evolved, and his mind seems to be a pure land that has been purified.
According to some records, the lotus flower is the symbol of the Buddha, which is to tell us that human beings must walk a clean path with their own pure hearts, and then they can have a clean physical and mental world like the Buddha.
To be our original selves, to tell us to be good, not to do evil, not to have selfish thoughts, not to be prejudiced, not to be greedy, not to have impurities, to be a noble person.
-
Because since ancient times, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have stepped on lotus flowers, and they have never seen Buddhas and Bodhisattvas stepping on other things.
-
When Guanyin Bodhisattva practiced, there was no such legend, the heavenly gods gave her a lotus, and said that it was planted in the golden mother lotus pond in the heavenly Yao Pond, and there were only three in the world, and she got one of them, which shows the preference of the two religions for the lotus.
So the Buddha and Bodhisattva stepped on the lotus.
Can you give a thumbs up at the end of the consultation?
I wish you a happy life, smooth work, and all the best
