How to see if the paper has a fluorescent agent, how to identify whether the paper towel has a fluor

Raw paper, also known as wrinkled toilet paper, is mainly used for people's daily hygiene, and is one of the indispensable paper species for the people. In order to make toilet paper soft, mechanical methods are usually used to wrinkle the paper sheets to increase the softness of the toilet paper. There are many raw materials for the manufacture of toilet paper, and the commonly used ones are cotton pulp, wood pulp, straw pulp, waste paper pulp, etc.

Toilet paper requires no sizing, if the production of colored toilet paper, add the configured pigment. Toilet paper is characterized by strong water absorption, low bacterial content (the total number of bacteria per gram of paper weight is not allowed to exceed 200 400, E. coli and other pathogenic bacteria are not allowed), the paper page is soft, uniform thickness, no holes, uniform wrinkles, consistent color, and less impurities. For example, when producing small rolls of double-layer toilet paper, the perforation pitch should be consistent, the pinholes should be clear, easy to break, and neat.

Toilet paper refers to a very thin piece of paper that people can use to clean up after using the toilet. The shape is either a single square or rolled into a cylinder. They are usually made from wood pulp, similar to the process used to make regular paper, but are extremely thin and fragile.

The purpose of fragility is to rot when it comes into contact with water, so as not to cause a blockage in the toilet. This purpose is very different from that of a tissue paper with a very similar appearance. If tissue paper is mistaken for toilet paper, it can easily lead to toilet blockage.

Due to the "disposable nature" of toilet paper, some green groups have pointed out in the past that instead of wasting precious wood pulp to make toilet paper, we should switch to fast-growing plants such as reeds or bamboo, and even recycle newspapers to make toilet paper. In the mid-1990s, there was a paper towel in Hong Kong that advertised that it was made from recycled newspapers, but the ink of the newspaper was difficult to decolorize, resulting in many black spots on the surface of the paper towel, and the poor paper made it not respond well in the market.

On the other hand, most places in the world prohibit the discarding of toilet paper in public toilets. It is a good habit to dispose of discarded toilet paper in the rubbish bins of public toilets.

Paper towels basically contain fluorescent brighteners, which are particularly bright when irradiated with ultraviolet lamps. Fluorescent brighteners are also harmless, and cakes all contain fluorescent brighteners.

Detection method for identifying paper towels with or without fluorescent agents:

Step 1: It can be detected with a violet flashlight, which is specifically used for fluorescent agent detection. As shown in the figure below:

Step 2: Turn on the violet lamp, use the light source to illuminate the paper towel, if the light of the paper towel is white, it means that the paper towel does not contain fluorescent, as shown in the figure below

Step 3: Under the irradiation of the violet light source, if the light of the tissue is obviously bright blue, it contains fluorescent, as shown in the figure below
