The theory of the blessed earth is an important part of Taoist cosmology. Its basic connotation can be explained in modern language as follows: In the cosmic-centered living space inhabited by human beings (the so-called "Great Heavenly World"), there are still 36 relatively isolated living worlds of different sizes (i.e., 10 Cave Heavens and 36 Small Cave Heavens) and 72 special regions (i.e., 72 blessed lands).
Most of these entrances to the Cave Heaven and Blessed Land are located in or between the famous mountains in China, and they are connected to the heavens, forming a special world. It is inhabited by fairies or people who have escaped the world.
During the period when Sima Chengzhen, a famous Taoist priest of the Tang Dynasty, entered the Wangwu Mountain, he devoted himself to the study of the Taoist cave heaven blessing before the Tang Dynasty, and completely put forward the theory of "ten major cave heavens, thirty-six small cave heavens, and seventy-two blessed lands" in the world, and compiled them into the "Heaven and Earth Palace Map". Among the ten major caves, the seventh cave is Luofu Cave. The thirty-fourth blessed land, the source of the spring, is in Luofu Mountain (now in Boluo, Guangdong).

Luofu Mountain is a national scenic spot and a national 5A-level scenic spot, which stands majestically in the south-central part of Lingnan, sits on Daya Bay in the South China Sea, and is adjacent to Huizhou West Lake. Sima Qian of the Han Dynasty said: "Luofu Han Zuo ordered Nanyue, one of the ten mountains in the world."
It is revered by Taoism as the seventh largest cave in the world and the thirty-four blessed lands, and is called the first Zen forest in Luofu by Buddhism.
