A motto is a type of inscription. Ming, (in terms of the properties of its noun), has two interpretations in the Modern Chinese Dictionary:

1) Words describing facts, merits, etc., on artifacts and steles;

2) Be wary of your own words.

The inscription of the first meaning, such as that of the great writer Han Yu of the Tang Dynasty'"Liu Zihou's Epitaph", Song Dynasty literary master Su Shi's "Sanhuai Tang Inscription" and Wang Anshi's "Taizhou Hailing County Master Book Xu Jun's Epitaph" ......These classic inscriptions, not only with their unique literary form, add charm to ancient Chinese prose, but also with their simple language, deep emotions, touched countless future generations.

The second meaning of the inscription, namely: "be wary of your own words" - that is, what we usually call the "motto", its genre or text or couplet, its words are long and short, most of them play the role of inspirational self-cultivation and spurring the police. According to the "History of the South", Wu Jie, a famous general of the Song Dynasty in the Southern Dynasty, "is good at reading history, and those who have the past to learn from will record the motto."

Accumulate for a long time, and the walls are all mottos. This may be an earlier source of the motto in the canonical history.

However, as a bell of inscription, the earliest motto was not a text, but an object, that is, "Wu Ming": according to legend, in the Spring and Autumn Period, the Qi people built a temple for the dead Duke of Qi Huan. There is a vessel for wine in it, which is called a vessel.

In the exercise class in kindergarten, the teacher taught us to jump rope, and I had learned it in my heart, but it was very difficult to jump over it when I picked up the skipping rope.
