There are five master temples everywhere in the north, who are the five masters?

This fifth master refers to the fifth son of the Dragon King. The fifth master is the God of Wealth, that is, the God of Wealth worshiped in many of our homes today is the incarnation of the Fifth Master. This has something to do with the position he held when he was in the East China Sea, it is said that the Dragon King of the East China Sea gave birth to nine sons, each of whom held a different position, and they performed their own duties.

The fifth son of the dragon king was in charge of the treasure house of the East China Sea, and once he found that his family had suffered a serious disaster, so he took out the treasure of the East China Sea to help the victims. So the people began to build the Wuye Temple to express their respect and worship for him.

The fifth master is actually Sheng Yan, that is, the son of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, and the God of Wealth.

The Five Masters, generally believed to be the fifth son of the Sea Dragon King, called the Five Dragon Kings, according to legend, the Five Dragon Kings were arranged in Beitai to manage the cultivation and rainfall of the Wutai Mountain, and people called him the Five Masters in gratitude and built the Five Masters Temple.

Wuye Temple, also known as the Five Dragons Palace, Ten Thousand Buddha Pavilion, is located in the center of Taihuai Town, Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, was built in the 44th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (manuscript Yu 1616), Zheng Chun was a temple of Tayuan Temple; The Qing Dynasty was rebuilt, and it was renamed the Yellow Temple.

The five masters enshrined in the temple hall of the five masters are the honorific titles of the Guangji Dragon King Manjushri Bodhisattva, and they are also the incarnation of the five top Manjushri Bodhisattvas of Wutai Mountain. The Five Masters are the products of Manjushri Bodhisattva's localization and secularization in Taihuai, which assumes the function of folk gods and entrusts the local people to pray for smooth weather and peace and auspiciousness.

The area is not large, covers an area of only more than 2,000 square meters, there are four main buildings, they are the Five Masters Temple, the Ten Thousand Buddha Pavilion is also called the Ten Thousand Buddha Palace, the Manjushri Hall and the ancient stage. Because of the Wuye Temple, it has become one of the most vigorous temples in Wutai Mountain.

Later, the local people also used to call the Ten Thousand Buddha Pavilion the Five Masters Temple.

The five masters in the temple of the five masters refer to the Guangji Dragon King Manjushri Bodhisattva.

According to legend, Manjushri Bodhisattva was born as the Five Dragon Kings in order to help Guangji for life, and the five masters who were originally black-faced also became golden-faced. Wuye Temple was founded in the Qing Dynasty, located in Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, enshrined in Guangji Dragon King Manjushri Bodhisattva, behind it there are also the images of the uncle, the second master, the third master, the dragon mother and other people, at the same time, because the five dragon kings love to watch the play, so people built a stage opposite it, specially used for acting, and the five master temple is also known as the Five Dragon King Temple.

In modern times, the incense of the Wuye Temple is still continuous, assuming the function of secular gods, and placing the people's hope that the wind and rain will be smooth, and the source of peace and happiness will be auspicious.
