1. Original text. The first five verses of consciousness.

The five senses are the same as the pure color root, the nine edges and seven or eight are adjacent, and the three are separated from the two worlds, and it is difficult for the fool to distinguish between the root and the root.

The disguised view of emptiness is only obtained later, and the fruit is still self-interpreting the truth, and the beginning of the Yuan Ming Dynasty has no leakage, and the three types of doppelgangers breathe the bitter wheel.

The Sixth Consciousness Ode. The three natures and three quantities pass through the three realms, and the three realms are easy to know when they turn around, corresponding to the fifty-one hearts and minds, and good and evil are temporarily matched.

The sexual world is subject to the three constant transfers, and the roots are always connected with the letter, and the departure speech is the most unique, and it is full of energy to attract karma.

Initiating the original intention happily, the change is still haunted by sleep, and there is no leakage after traveling far away, observing the Yuanming Zhao.

The Seventh Consciousness. With the quality of the cover of the book, with the fate of my measure for the wrong, the eight all over the trip do not accompany the Feng Jinghui, greedy I see the slow to follow.

Constant deliberation and reflection of my companionship, sentient day and night coma, four confusion and eight corresponding starts, six turns to dye and purify.

The Eighth Verse of Knowledge. Sex is only five times without repeating, and the realm is born according to his karma, and the two vehicles cannot be caused by obsession, so that they can talk about the subject.

Hao Hao Sanzang is not endless, the deep seven waves of the realm is the wind, and he is held by Xun to hold the root body, and he will be the lord first.

Before the immovable ground is hidden, after the vajra road is unfamiliar and empty, the big circle is free at the same time, shining in the dust of the ten directions.

The Ode to the Eight Senses Rules was created by Master Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty. This is the summary made by Master Xuanzang after translating hundreds of volumes of the Sutra of Wisdom, and the outline of the [Eight Senses] in Wisdom.

The second is ear awareness. Ear cognition is based on the sound and dust at the root of the ear, that is, our auditory function. There is a commentary in the first five odes:

This requires all kinds of conditions, and the root of the ear is also one of the conditions, of course, it also includes the inner root and the outer root, and also includes the root of the dust and the root of pure color. The sound dust of the ear and the realm of sound, there are three kinds of sound in a nutshell, and there are eleven kinds in a wide range of words.

Among the three kinds, the first is "grasping for the sound of the great seed cause", which is also known as the "inner edge sound": this refers to the language and action of our people—for example, two hands clapping, and this kind of sound is the sound of "grasping the sound of the great seed cause". It's as if we talk and sing, these are the "inner sounds".

The second type is the "non-attachment of the great cause sounds", also known as the "outer sounds", which are sounds produced by nature, such as the sound of the wind, the sound of running water, and so on.

The third type is the "great causal sound", also known as the "inner and outer sound", which is the sound of human beings and the material world. For example, when we play the flute, there is a role for people and a role for the flute; And chopping wood. This is the "inner and outer edge sound".

Su Shi wrote a very simple poem to ask a question, what question? That is to say, when we listen to this piano, he asks where the sound of this piano comes from. And he composed a poem: Nadan.

If the sound of this piano comes from the top of the piano, then why didn't I hear the sound when I put this piano in the box?

If the sound comes from your fingers, then you don't want to play the piano, you can listen to the sound on your fingers. He just wants this piano sound to come from.

When we learn only knowledge, we know that it is very simple, right? "Guess the sound of the great cause", also known as the "inner and outer edge sound", that is, both the piano and our fingers need to produce this sound. This is simply to say that there are three voices, and there are eleven kinds of voices.

The fourth type is "Keyi sound", which is a pleasant sound.

The fifth type is "unpleasant sounds", such as noise, which makes us very irritable.

The sixth is the "contradictory voice", that is, the voice of the mean, which does not go well or goes against the will.

The seventh type is the "sound of the world", the sound of the world's common consent, such as the sound of a car.

The eighth type is the "sound of enlightenment", which is to establish the sutras, laws, and commentaries on the three Tibets according to this sound, and to guide sentient beings to attain nirvana. How to understand? It's easy!

Aren't we chanting Buddha in the morning? What can I do with chanting Buddha? Attaining nirvana, this is just a subdivision!

Chanting the sound of the Buddha. The ninth type is "the voice of pervasive calculation", the voice of vain attachment and measurement of various foreign ways, "words and teachings".

The tenth is the "voice of the holy word", the voice of the saint's preaching, because of the "holy word" mentioned above.

The eleventh is "the sound that is not taken by the Word", which is explained in a very wide range in the Yogi Treatise on the Land, and we will only mention it briefly here.
