The import and export goods listed in the "List of Import and Export Commodities Inspected by Commodity Inspection Agencies" and other import and export goods that are subject to inspection by commodity inspection agencies according to laws and administrative regulations must be inspected by commodity inspection agencies or inspection departments designated by national commodity inspection departments or commodity inspection agencies. At the same time, it is stipulated that all import and export goods included in the "List of Import and Export Commodities Inspected by Commodity Inspection Agencies" shall not be sold or used unless they are exempted from inspection with the approval of the national commodity inspection department; If the export goods have not passed the inspection, they are not allowed to be exported.

In the international world, the goods are often damaged, short and even lost after long-distance transportation, so it is necessary for a fair third party with professional knowledge of the goods to inspect or identify the goods in order to find out the cause of the damage and determine the attribution of responsibility, so as to facilitate the handover of goods and the smooth progress of the transaction. Therefore, the inspection of goods is an indispensable and important part of the international contract, and the inspection clause is an important clause in the international contract.

In fact, the goods can also be sent directly from abroad to the mainland port for customs clearance, but there is a premise: your goods must have been inspected for commodity inspection! Of course, it can also be done abroad, but it takes a lot more time and money to do commodity inspection abroad than to do it in Hong Kong, and it is not convenient.

Moreover, if the goods need to be returned to the place of origin due to an accident or the customs declaration company's inability to clear customs, it is also much more convenient to operate in Hong Kong, a free port and transit port, and it can be returned to the seller if it does not meet the requirements. For the export of individual goods, customs supervision conditions are required for commodity inspection, such as more common wood products and bamboo products. You can query the corresponding regulatory conditions according to the commodity code, the letter B is the export commodity inspection, and the letter A is the import commodity inspection!

The export of legal inspection products requires a commodity inspection customs clearance form, which needs to be done every time you export.

Article 5 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Inspection of Import and Export Commodities includes the import and export commodities listed in the catalogue, which shall be inspected by the commodity inspection agency. Where the imported commodities provided for in the preceding paragraph have not been inspected and matched, they are not allowed to be sold or used; The export commodities provided for in the preceding paragraph shall not be allowed to be exported if they have not been inspected and qualified. The import and export commodities specified in the first paragraph of this article, which meet the conditions for exemption from inspection stipulated by the state, shall be exempted from inspection by the consignee or consignor, and may be exempted from inspection upon the review and approval of the national commodity inspection department.
