When the sun comes out in the morning, its shadow becomes shorter, and at noon it becomes a dot, and then it grows longer in the opposite direction. As the length of the shadow changes, people draw lines on the ground to mark and record the change of time and shadow.
It is observed that the horizontal line that is not covered by the shadow is "one"; There is a shadow covering the horizontal line and breaking it as "one by one".
