The registry may seem mysterious because of its complex structure and clsid keys that are not connected to it. Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't fully disclosed support information about the correct registry settings, which makes the registry even more unpredictable. The processing and registry are like "black art", and its settings in the system make it feel like the user is groping in the dark.

1. Open the registry. You can do this by tapping Windows + R, typing regedit in the run box and clicking OK.

2. Navigate to the registry key or value you wish to export and select it. Note that the keys are "folders" in the registry, while the values are individual settings in those folders. If you want to copy the entire key, highlight the key.

3. Select Export from the File menu.

Method one is to open the registry directly

On an XP or Win7 system, click the "Start" button in the bottom left corner of the screen, and then click "Run." button:

Method 2: When the registration cannot be opened

Sometimes there is no response after entering the "regedit" command in the "Run" dialog box, it is very likely that the registry is disabled, but it is also possible that the computer is poisoned! This problem can also be caused by the use of optimization software.

If the registry is blocked access, then click the Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen and select the Run command from the pop-up menu

Four ways to open the registry:

1. Run Open:

Use the shortcut key [win+r] to open the running window, enter the command [regedit], and press the enter key to open the registry.

3. Turn on the C drive

Find [My Computer] or [This Computer] on the desktop of the computer, and then double-click to enter the [C drive], in the C driveFind the regedit file in the Windows folder and double-click it to open the registry.

4. Open regedt32:

Find the [ReGED32] file in the [Windows] [System32] folder of the C drive, and double-click it to open it.
