There are gods on the head of the three feet.
South Street, Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province, there is a stone archway built by blue granite stones, it has been hundreds of years ago, but it is still very spectacular, only the top of the east is missing a corner. Why is a good stone archway missing a corner?
Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a fishmonger who sold fish in the torii alley. The fishmonger set up a fish stall under the stone archway, and there were many people who came and went in the aisle, and they all bought some fish from the fishmonger to eat at home, and for a while, the fishmonger's business was quite prosperous. But as the days went on, the fishmongers began to use their brains.
When selling fish, the fishmonger pressed the head of the scale with his little finger, obviously it was fourteen taels (in ancient times sixteen taels was one catty), he used his little finger to press down gently, and then moved the scale to a catty star, and the buyer saw that the scale was slightly higher, and he couldn't fix the star, so he happily bought the fish home.
The fishmonger thought he was clever, but after a long time, he was discovered by shrewd people. People began to talk about it, but instead of repenting, the fishmonger thought that he was a step ahead, ignored what others were saying about him, and turned a deaf ear to him and continued to do his deceitful business.
One day, the fishmonger was selling fish under the archway, and an old lady came to him with a bag of fish in her hand: "Fish seller, I just bought a pound of fish from you, and I went to the shop to weigh two taels, is there something wrong with your scale?" ”
When the fishmonger saw that he had come to the door, he knew that something was wrong, and saw that a few of the people who had been paying for the fish had put the money back in their pockets. Seeing this scene, the fishmonger raised his head and pointed to the stone archway and swore an oath: "I, a fishmonger, have been selling fish for so many years, if there is a shortage of catties or two, let the corner of the archway fall and smash me to death!"
As soon as the words fell, they heard a "click", people were startled, and when they came back to their senses, the corner of the stone archway that the fishmonger pointed at just now really fell, and the fishmonger had been stoned to death by the big stone corner.
This legend has been passed down to the present day, and the big stone corner that fell from the top of the stone archway and killed the fishmonger is still lying under the torii.
There are gods on the head of the three feet", no matter what people do, they are doing it for themselves, which is the heavenly principle that good is rewarded with good and evil is rewarded with evil, and I hope people can get a little inspiration from this folklore.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful place called Hujiawan, and there was a river in front of the village in Hujiawan, called Qiuchuan River. The river is wide, and the villagers often wash their clothes and vegetables in the river, and sometimes small fish jump out of the water in the clear water, which attracts the children of the village to often come to catch fish and touch shrimp.
One year, God didn't know what was going crazy, and it rained heavily for seven days and seven nights. The river swelled, and the surrounding mountains flooded down like beasts. Hujiawan was surrounded by floods, and the whole village was in danger of being destroyed at any time.
The next day is the Dragon Boat Festival, there is a girl in the bay who wants to get married, and the dowry has already been done, just wait for the sedan chair to arrive and go to be the bride.
But the heavens are not beautiful, and the village is about to be washed away by the flood, and the people outside cannot come in, and the people inside cannot go out, what should we do? The girl came up with a solution: she told every house to take down the gates, cut down some trees and tie them into wooden rafts, and spread the doors on them, so that people could sit on them.
But there were hundreds of people in the village, old and young, and there were too many people, and the wooden rafts were sinking rapidly. The girl was in a hurry, and took out her dowry, a six-mouth mahogany box, and tied it to the row with rope. Everyone also moved their own wooden boxes one after another, and the wooden rafts finally floated.
But how can so many people be transferred to the opposite mountain? Then the girl tore the clothes, sheets, and bed covers that she was going to marry, and told them to make long ropes, one tied to a wooden raft, and the other to herself, and then carried a piece of wood and went up the mountain.
The wooden raft was slowly dragged by her, the girl's figure appeared and disappeared in the flood, the villagers watched anxiously, closer, closer to the mountain, suddenly, a huge wave hit, the girl was gone, and everyone in the village was saved. Everyone hurriedly found the head of the rope and pulled it, pulled it, pulled it......But it was not the girl who pulled out of the water, but a long wooden bridge that led from the village to the foot of the mountain, and in the blink of an eye the bridge was so colorful that it looked like a bride in colorful clothes. After a while, the color bridge turned into a solid stone bridge again.
The flood waters receded, and people walked back to the village from the stone bridge. Since then, the bridge in front of our village has been called "Daughter Bridge".

The origin of the Miao Fish Killing Festival.
On the ninth day of March every year, it is the "Fish Killing Festival" of the Miao people living in Longli, Guiding, Fuquan and other places in Guizhou. On this day, people come to the river, fork a fresh fish from the river, set up an iron pot, burn a bonfire, boil the fresh fish with river water, drink rice wine, worship the sky and pray for rain, and wish the wind and rain to be smooth and the grain abundant. There is also a legend about this day.
A long time ago, there was a very beautiful princess, she was smart and clever, and she was superhuman. The king of heaven is pampered like a pearl in the palm of his hand. One day, the princess raided Yan Hongran and got sick, and the heavenly prince was very anxious, so he sent the heavenly soldiers and generals to send the elixir of the heavenly palace, picked the Ganoderma lucidum grass from Kunlun Mountain, dug up the ginseng baby of Changbai Mountain, and fished the pearls of the sea.
But none of these medicines cured the princess's illness. Seeing that the princess's condition was getting worse day by day, the prince was so anxious that he didn't think about tea and dinner. Later, when the prince heard that "a hundred fish in the rivers of the world can cure a hundred diseases", he immediately sent the god of auction books to the mortal world, caught a hundred kinds of fish from the rivers, lakes and seas, boiled them into soup, and served them to the princess.
After the princess ate it, she was cured of her illness in a few days. In order to thank the fish for saving their lives, the Heavenly King ordered to protect the fish in the rivers, lakes and seas, and not to harm them at will. The Lord of Heaven also ordered the rain god to rain all the rain into the rivers, lakes and seas, and not to give a drop to humans.
At this time, there was a great drought in the world, and the Miao family was very worried. So, the villagers killed pigs, slaughtered cattle, and sacrificed to the sky for rain. However, the Heavenly King is still a drop of water.
Nor to humans. Finally, the pigs and cattle are slaughtered, and on the ninth day of the third month, the villagers catch some carp, silver carp, salmon, crucian carp and baby fish from the rivers, lakes and seas to replace the pigs and cattle offerings, and pray for rain. Who knows, the Heavenly Lord saw that the human beings brutally killed his Enyu for his life, and thought of the fish's life-saving grace to his daughter, and couldn't help but cry bitterly.
He cried for three days and three nights, and the clouds were rolling, the wind was fierce, and the lightning was thundering. The tears of the Heavenly Lord turned into a downpour and fell from the sky. The rain rained for three days and three nights, flooding the farmland and moistening the vegetation.
Until now, the Pingpo of Jiuli, the Guangming of Guiding, and the Miao people of Xin'anzhai in Fuquan have to go to the river to kill fish on the ninth day of the first month of March every year.

Four of China's four major folk tales: Meng Jiangnu cries on the Great Wall.
During the Qin Dynasty, there was a kind and beautiful woman named Meng Jiangnu. One day, she was doing housework in her yard, when she suddenly found a person hiding under the grape trellis, which startled her, and she was about to shout, but the man waved his hand again and again, pleading: "Don't shout, don't shout, help me!"
My name is Fan Xiliang, and I'm here to flee. "It turns out that at this time, Qin Shi Huang was arresting people everywhere to work as laborers in order to build the Great Wall, and many people had starved to death and died of exhaustion! Meng Jiangnu rescued Fan Xiliang, and when she saw that he was knowledgeable and reasonable, her eyebrows were clear, she fell in love with him, and Fan Xiliang also fell in love with Meng Jiangnu.
The two of them were heart-to-heart, and after obtaining the consent of their parents, they were ready to get married.
On the day of marriage, the Meng family was full of lights, and the guests were full, and there was a joyful scene. Seeing that it was getting dark, and the people who drank the wine were gradually dispersed, the bride and groom were about to enter the cave room, when suddenly they only heard the chickens and dogs barking, and then a team of vicious officers and soldiers broke in. The good happy event turned into an empty one, and Meng Jiangnu was full of grief and anger, thinking about her husband day and night.
She thought: Instead of sitting at home and worrying, I should go to the Great Wall to find him myself. Right!
That's it! Meng Jiangnu immediately packed up and hit the road.
Along the way, I don't know how many winds, frosts, rains and snows, how many dangerous mountains and rivers I have trekked through, Meng Jiangnu has not shouted bitterness, has not shed a single tear, and finally, with tenacious perseverance, with deep love for her husband, she arrived at the Great Wall. At this time, the Great Wall was already a very long city wall composed of construction sites, and Meng Jiangnu came to find it from construction site to site, but her husband was never seen. Finally, she plucked up the courage to ask a team of migrant workers who were about to go to work:
Do you have a Fan Xiliang here? The migrant worker said, "There is such a person, a new man."
When Meng Jiangnu heard this, she was so happy! She hurriedly asked again, "Where is he?"
The migrant worker said: "It's dead, and the corpse capital has filled the foot of the city!" ”
Suddenly hearing this bad news, it was like a thunderbolt on a sunny day, Meng Jiangnu only felt that her eyes were dark, she was sad for a while, and she cried. I cried for three days and three nights, crying so dark that even the heavens and the earth were moved. The sky was getting more and more gloomy, the wind was getting more and more violent, only to hear a "bang", a section of the Great Wall was cried down, revealing Fan Xiliang's corpse, and Meng Jiangnu's tears fell on his bloody face.
She finally met her beloved husband, but he never saw her again, because he had been killed by the brutal Qin Shi Huang.
