    Another trick to hide files.

When multiple people in the office share a computer, they always want to hide their private files, and modifying the registry is a good way, but is there a simpler and more practical way? It's safe to say – there is! The following methods can successfully hide your files, but please note that this method only works on FAT formatted physical drives.

    Take disk E as an example, right-click disk E - > Properties - > Tools - > defragmentation.

This speeds up the execution of the following steps. After the defragmentation is completed, right-click on the E drive-> Properties-> compression, and click"Create a new drive"Button. After waiting patiently for a while, you can see that there is an extra drive G in the explorer, which is actually a compressed drive compressed from the remaining free space of the E drive.

In this case, you can use it as if you were using a regular physical drive, such as copying files into it, deleting files, etc.

If you feel that the compression driver G takes up too much space, you can also adjust it manually. Open"Get started"->"Attachments"->"System tools"->"Disk space management"program, execute the menu item"drives"->"Adjust the available space", drag the slider to change the size of the main drive E and the compressed drive G. Because the contents of the G drive are actually compressed and stored in the E drive, the relationship between the two spaces is one and the other.

Copy the files you want to hide to the G drive, and then click on the"System space management", select G disk, and execute it"Advanced"->"Remove"。After a while, the system prompts that the G drive has been removed, and the G drive can no longer be seen in the explorer, and of course, the files saved in the G drive are successfully incognito.

If you want to get back to the G drive, just be there"Disk space management", select Drive E of the main drive, and execute it"Advanced"->"Assemble", press in the pop-up dialog box"OK"Can.

Want to be a little more secretive? Of course, there is a way. Reveal all the files first, by doing:"My computer"->"Check"->"Folder options"->"Check"- > checked"All files are displayed"。

Find a file in the root directory of the E drive (if it is a compressed D drive, then in the root directory of the D drive, and so on), in fact, it is a compressed volume file, and the contents of the G drive are saved in it, press F2 to rename it to another name that only you know (but be sure to remember it). This way, when someone else runs the assembly command, the system will prompt that there are no unassembled compression drives. Then no one else will be able to do it.

    1. Have you installed encryption software, some encryption software will invalidate your function of showing hidden files! If so, decrypt all files or folders! Or uninstall it!

    2. Hidden files are no longer visible.

In the window on the right side of Advanced Folder Hidden Nohidden, double-click the checkvalued key to 2, and then SHO

In the window on the right side of the wall subkey, double-click the checkvalued key, which can be 1.

Are you an internet café server? Which software restricts this. I've encountered it before. It seems to be Vientiane, or it was made by the net pioneer.

Use winrar to store compression,Just add a password,So that others can't open the file without a password,Now those fast encryption software popular on the Internet are deceptive,Like what"High * strong * degree * plus * dense * big * division","File Encryption King"and so on, all claimed to encrypt 1G files in a second, in fact, the files you want to encrypt are stored in a special folder in the **station, Of course, the files are not seen in the **station, But if you empty the partition**station,Your baby files are gone.,I've been victimized.,2G all kinds of software and tutorials are gone.,And the hard disk is missing 2G space.,In the end, I had to format under DOS to restore the capacity of the hard disk.,So it's best not to use anything fast to encrypt things., Winrar is a bit slow, but it's perfectly safe, and no one can deny that. >>>More
