The hometown of shipbuilding culture - Mawei. This beautiful town has created one miracle after another in the history of China's shipbuilding industry: China's first aircraft, the A-1 water biplane trainer, was born here; It was here that China's first practical steam engine was successfully manufactured; It was here that the first steel-hulled steel-clad cruiser made in China was successfully built; It was here that China's first thousand-ship ship was launched; China's first naval school, the Fujian Shipbuilding School, was ......built hereIt is the birthplace of China's shipbuilding culture and the cradle of the modern navy, and has a far-reaching influence on China's modern history.
The shipbuilding culture embodies the century-old dream of a generation of people to rejuvenate China, and has left a deep imprint on China's modern history. The shipyard is not only the glory of Mawei, but also an important chapter in the history of modern Chinese civilization. When we stand in the martyrs' cemetery of Zhaozhong Ancestral Hall, pay tribute to the martyrs of the Majiang naval battle; As we stroll through the Mawei Shipyard and visit the remains of the peak period of the shipyard; When we stepped into the Harbour Master's Museum, wandered in front of the cultural relics and models of warships, and wandered in front of the remains of the martyrs; When we touch the ancient cannon chamber and look at the vast Minjiang River estuary; That tragic war seems to be reappearing before our eyes:
In 1842, the Western powers bombarded the gates of Fuzhou. For more than a century, in the face of the tempering of blood and fire, Fuzhou people have pondered, explored, pursued, shouted and struggled. In 1883, France invaded China based in Vietnam, triggering the Sino-French War.
In this war, our army lost 521 people, and the Fujian Navy Division suffered heavy losses in the battle. From the 90s of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, a new social force was active in the fields of military, culture, science and technology, diplomacy, economy and railway transportation in China - graduates and students of the Ship Master School. Some of them sacrificed their lives to defend China's maritime frontier and resist foreign aggression, and some of them dedicated their lives to China's modern naval cause.
Walking in the Majiang Naval War Memorial Hall, I felt the patriotic feelings of seeing death as home. We are not only extremely proud of the great achievements made by Mawei Shipbuilding, but also extremely sad for the martyrs who died bravely, and a sense of pride and sadness arises spontaneously. Mawei shipbuilding culture is the pride of our Chinese nation's unremitting history for a hundred years, and it is a spiritual treasure passed down from generation to generation of the Chinese nation.
Take the ancestors as an example, carry forward the spirit of Mawei Shipbuilding, and strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation! Bonus points.
