Scenic spots that have passed the review will enter the landscape assessment procedure, and those that have not passed the review can only apply for re-examination after one year.

2) Landscape value evaluation. The National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee set up a review group composed of experts from relevant aspects, listened to the statements of the declared scenic spots, and adopted the method of differential voting to evaluate the attractiveness and market influence of scenic spots, including the scenic spot ornamental and recreational value, historical, cultural and scientific value, popularity, reputation and market radiation. Scenic spots that have passed the landscape evaluation will enter the on-site inspection link, and scenic spots that have not passed the landscape evaluation can only apply for re-examination after two years.

3) On-site inspection. The National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee organizes national inspectors to set up an assessment team to conduct on-site inspections on the service quality and environmental quality of scenic spots, including basic service facilities such as scenic transportation, public service facilities such as safety and health, tour guides, shopping and other tour service facilities, e-commerce and other network service systems, and the protection of the historical and cultural and natural environment, and guide tourists to civilized tourism. Scenic spots that meet the standards of on-site inspection will enter the social publicity procedure, and scenic spots that do not meet the standards can only apply for on-site inspection again after one year.

4) Public announcement. The National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee will make a public announcement on the China Tourism Network for seven working days for the declared scenic spots that meet the standards. In the publicity stage, there are no major objections or major complaints about the tourist attractions through the publicity, if there are major objections or major complaints, the National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee will verify and investigate, and make corresponding decisions.

5) Publish an announcement. Scenic spots that have no major objections or major complaints after publicity shall be issued by the National Tourist Attractions Quality Rating Committee to identify the quality grade, and certificates and signs will be issued.
