What four players in the NBA have had a quadruple double?

1. Nate Thurmond: October 18, 1974, Chicago Bulls vs. Atlanta Hawks: 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks.

2. Ervin Robertson: February 18, 1986, San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns: 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals. (The only "quadruple-double" in league history to have a steal).

3. Hakim Olajuwon: March 29, 1990, Houston Rockets vs. Milwaukee Bucks: 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks.

4. David Robinson: February 17, 1994, San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons: 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks.

Because there were only statistics on steals and blocks in 1973, there was no way to count them before.

Of the NBA's recorded records, only five people have had a quadruple-double:

Nate Thurmond 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks, Bulls vs. Hawks on October 18, 1974.

Elvin Robertson 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals, Spurs vs. Suns on February 18, 1986.

Olajuwon 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks, Rockets vs. Bucks on March 29, 1990.

David Robinson 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks, Spurs vs. Pistons on February 17, 1994.

Chamberlain had 22 points, 25 rebounds, 21 assists and 22 blocks against the Pistons in 1968.

Among them, Zhang Dashuai does not have exact official data, but there are witnesses at the time. In addition to that, there are a few close to quadruple-doubles, but there are only a few times when the actual NBA official record has quadruple-doubles.

The NBA didn't start recording a quadruple-double until the 1973-74 season, so the following figures are for the period between 1973-74 and 2014-15. In this period of NBA history, only four people have ever reached a quadruple-double, and they are:

1. Nate Thurmond.

22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks, Bulls vs. Hawks on October 18, 1974.

2. Ervin Robertson.

20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals (the only "quadruple-double" in league history with steals), Spurs vs. Suns on February 18, 1986.

18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks, March 29, 1990 Rockets vs. Bucks.

4. David Robinson.

34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks, Spurs vs. Pistons on February 17, 1994.

A quadruple-double is a basketball term that refers to four of the five benign stats of scores, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks reaching 10 or more. Achieving a quadruple-double is very tough, and if a player reaches a quadruple-double, it proves that the player's skills are very well-rounded.

I only remember Olajuwon getting a quadruple-double once.
