The main idea of this sentence is from the Buddhist Prajna Sutra, the most representative of which is the Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra, or the Heart Sutra for short.
To put it simply, it is to understand the superficial illusory phenomena of the material world and the essence of its emptiness, and thus to have true wisdom.
The word convenience here refers to the various principles and methods that have been set up to enable you to understand and realize the reality of truth.
And the idea of non-gain is the most fundamental and easy way to understand it, and non-gain is another name for impermanence, illusory, emptiness.
So what does it mean to have nothing, which is to say, the aggregates are empty.
The truth of the five aggregates of the See-Tak and the Mind is all void, illusory, impermanent, and incorporeal.
The aggregates are the sum of matter and mind (thoughts include thinking, cognition, perception, mental, mental activity, etc.), or the essence of both the material and spiritual worlds is emptiness.
With this kind of teaching, let yourself think and observe the world for yourself, until you also understand this truth, and even through your practice, you can really see the truth of all this in the world.
That is, dependent arising transforms all the worlds of time and space, and the essence of illusion is emptiness, just like everything in a dream, and there is no difference.
It is important to remember that what we see with the naked eye is really not the subtle inner essence of matter, if with the help of a telescope, a microscope, an electron microscope...
It will be easier for you to understand the emptiness that the Buddha said, so that modern people, as well as people who are knowledgeable and educated, as long as they have a little fate with the Buddha, are very easy to accept the Buddha's teachings of compassion and look at life objectively and rationally again!

The core of the entire 600 volumes of the Great Prajna Sutra is to illustrate one thing: the five aggregates of the ordinary realm are inherently void; All of them emphasize the same theme: to take non-gain as a convenience and to enjoy all the wisdom of the Buddha.
Since it is the truth that the five aggregates of ordinary people are empty and unattainable, why does the sutra emphasize everywhere that the scum of the Dharma is only for "convenience"? This is because to expound the truth that the five aggregates of ordinary people are inherently void and unattainable is only to reveal that the dharmas that ordinary people think they really exist are in fact only illusions, and this is to dismantle the obstacle to seeing reality as the illusion of ignorance of ordinary people. At the same time that the obstacle of the five aggregate illusions is removed, there is a real realm to be entered! It's not nothing!
Therefore, teaching ordinary people to observe the Dharma without attaining it is a convenient way to move forward that cannot be avoided when entering the true realm. This is the teaching task to be completed by the Prajna Sutra, from which all the Buddhas of the three worlds will graduate, so Prajna is called the mother of all Buddhas.
The Prajna Sutra is the Buddha's two-time teaching, which belongs to the way of dismantling the illusion of the five aggregates of ordinary people, which is to explain the reality. However, the main idea of "taking non-gain as convenience" lays the groundwork for the teachings of the righteous teachings of idealism and boundlessness in the third time, and also explains that the emptiness mentioned in the Prajna Sutra means that the five aggregates of ordinary people are empty and non-existent, but it is by no means extinguished.
There are three important things to learn Buddhism.
