The territory of Wei included the southern part of present-day Shanxi, the northern part of Henan, and parts of Shaanxi and Hebei. Origin. The ancestor of the Wei State was Bi Wan. Bi Gonggao is the fifteenth son of King Wen of Zhou, after King Wu of Zhou, Ji Gao was sealed in Bi, and the descendants took Bi as the clan.
After the death of Bi Guo, Bi Wan entered Jin after Bi Gonggao. The matter of Jin and dedication to the public, with merit in Wei, is the ancestor of the Wei family. His later life was Jin Qing.
After the death of Jin Xiangong, the four sons competed for the throne, and after Shi Biwan, Wei Li went into exile with his son Chong'er. Nineteen years later, Chong'er returned to the country as the Duke of Jin Wen, and made Wei Li a doctor, for Wei Wuzi, and Wei gradually strengthened.

During the Three Kingdoms period, the territory of Wei was in the complete area of present-day Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Shandong, and Shanxi provinces, as well as the north-central part of Shaanxi Province, the northwestern part of Gansu Province, and parts of Jiangsu, Hubei, and Zhejiang provinces.
In the Western Regions, Wei set up the governor of the Western Regions who governed Haitou (present-day Lop Nur West, Xinjiang) and the Wuji Lieutenant who governed Gaochang. In the second year of the early Huang dynasty (221), after Sun Quan became a vassal, Cao Wei let Sun Quan have Jingzhou as the pastor, and set Jing Yang and other Sun Quan forces as Jingzhou, and the northern part of Jingzhou under the original direct jurisdiction of Cao Wei was renamed Yingzhou. After the two sides broke up, Cao Wei restored Yingzhou to Jingzhou.
From the first year of the early Huang dynasty (220) to the seventh year of the early Huang dynasty (226 years), Qinzhou was placed on the right side of Long, and finally merged into Yongzhou. After the destruction of Shu and Han, Yizhou was divided into Liangzhou, and a total of two states were added.
