    f.The modem should be kept dry and ventilated, avoid water shower, and keep it clean. During a thunderstorm, be sure to unplug the modem power supply and all cables to avoid damage from lightning strikes.

    g.The modem should not be too hot and should not be placed on top of the PC case. If the temperature of the modem is always too high due to long-term Internet access, you can consider placing the modem vertically to facilitate heat dissipation.
