This situation mostly occurs on network users who do not make ** servers, do not do fire walls or routers, why is this? Because there's one on adslmodem"10base-t"port, this port is connected to the local area network, and it is actually a hub port. Although it is a 10M port, the uplink bandwidth of ADSL is only a few hundred kbits.

If the user's LAN is directly connected to the hub, and the hub is connected to the client below, many packets in the network that are not related to the ADSL will occupy the ADSL uplink channel, and the ADSL cannot control the broadcast storm in the LAN, such as through the ADSL uplink transmission capability, the data packets will be loaded into the ADSL cache, if the data volume continues to increase, the cache overflows, resulting in the ADSL"Hibernation"Phenomenon. The only way to do this is to restart the modem. The solution is that users with less abundant funds can make a ** server with dual network cards (must have dual network cards), which can cut off the direct communication between the modem and the LAN and avoid the above problems.

It is best to use a firewall or router for organizational users.

Other Notes:

a.The ADSL line cannot be extended together, ** can only be led out from the phone port of the splitter, otherwise it will cause ADSL to lose step.

b.The joints on the line must be connected well, especially the joints inside the user's house. If there is oxidation, it should be replaced in time.

c.If the ** line is too long from the distribution box, the parallel wire should be replaced with a twisted pair cable to improve the anti-interference ability of the line.

d.ADSL modem's power adapters generally have a limited range of voltage variations, and if the power supply fluctuates drastically, it will cause disconnection.

e.ADSL can sometimes be disturbed by weather conditions, such as heavy rain, etc. Users can wait a few hours for it to recover naturally.

f.The modem should be kept dry and ventilated, avoid water shower, and keep it clean. During a thunderstorm, be sure to unplug the modem power supply and all cables to avoid damage from lightning strikes.

g.The modem should not be too hot and should not be placed on top of the PC case. If the temperature of the modem is always too high due to long-term Internet access, you can consider placing the modem vertically to facilitate heat dissipation.

I don't want to talk about other methods, I often encounter this situation, although I can't think of a good solution (because it's related to the network), but there is absolutely no need to restart, the specific method is as follows:

1.Turn off the ADSL client device.

2.Click "Start" and disable "Local Connection" in your "Network Connection" in the Control Panel (click the reverse button on the local connection).

3.Turn the ADSL client device back on.

4.Re-enable the Local Connections connection (select Local Connections directly).

In fact, it is still necessary to consider the hardware problem, such as trying to change to an ADSL client device
