Ananda Asks the Buddha (Episode 34) 2001 7 5 Singapore Pure Sect Society File name: 15-13-34
Do we have a past life? Certainly, I don't want to go out to look for proof, think about it calmly, and find proof in myself, and the proof is very abundant. Ordinary people don't want to look for it, so you can't find it, I am willing to find it, I find a lot of proof, facts support this argument, and there are clear facts in front of us all the time.
In the habits of life, we meet a person, this person is indeed a stranger, never met, but as soon as we meet, we feel that this person is very familiar, déjà vu, I think everyone in their life, this situation is decided more than once. Sometimes when I see someone, I always feel that something is wrong, and I don't like it in my heart, what is the reason? Fate in a past life.
If there is no past life, how can this fact make sense? Also, when we go on a trip outside, it's really the first time we go sightseeing, and all of a sudden we see this realm very familiar, as if we've been there, but it's really the first time in this life, the first time we've seen it, and I think every initiate has this experience. If you think about it carefully, what the Buddha told us is that all the people and things you saw in your past life have good and evil, relatives and resentments, and when you encounter them in this life, you will have this kind of feeling in your heart, and there are too many examples like these.

What is superstition, what you don't understand is superstition, and if you don't understand it, you don't believe it is also superstition.
I recommend you to watch the documentary "Harmony Saves the Crisis" (08 edition), which is very suitable for people who do not know Buddhism. And there's a story about the question you asked.
Amitabha, increase auspiciousness!

Something happened, but why did it happen?
There must be a cause, but we don't know what the cause is, so we call these causes a pre-life, and we use this concept to answer a combination of these causes when we discuss a problem.
When we leave this world one day, our life will be transformed into another form, which is called the Hereafter.
-
Psychologically, this is normal, and you are the result of the interaction between the perceptual and memory systems in the brain.
Please don't be superstitious about everything, if you are a highly educated person.
-
I've been dreaming since I was a child, and the place in my dream is only in and out, and I can't get out every time I walk in, and I also know that I can't get out if I go in, but I will go in every time. It was a very familiar place, but I couldn't find it in reality, until one day I heard my dad talk about a place that looked very similar to the place in my dreams. It's a pity that I can't see it.
And from the moment I knew that the place I passed by every day looked similar to the place in my dreams, I never dreamed of that place again.

It shouldn't be your past life, because 20 years ago, mobile phones should have not been popularized, even if it was abroad, it wouldn't be in this situation, so it shouldn't be your past life.

The trend of Buddhism flourishing and competing with Confucianism has had a great impact on the convergence of the three religions (Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism) and on the values of modern China.

The Southern Dynasty is an era of advocating Buddhism, up to the princes and nobles, down to the common people of Li all believe in Buddhism, because of the support of the royal family, the temple was built, so there were 480 temples in the Southern Dynasty.
The cultural aspect is also related to Buddhism:
1. The Rise of Buddhist Art The highlight of Buddhist art in this period was in northern China.
2. Early cave paintings.
Buddhist art consists of three parts: architecture, sculpture, and murals. The three are a unity of mutual integration, a combination of religious and aesthetic, practical and artistic.
There are murals painted in the grottoes and temples in general. The murals in the temples of the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties have disappeared with the collapse of the building itself, and there are still a large number of cave murals.
3. Grotto statues.
Buddhist sculptures are divided according to materials, and there are several categories, such as bronze carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, wood carving, pottery sculpture, and cliff carving.
In the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties era, the most important Buddhist statues, the most able to reflect the prosperity of Buddhist art, is undoubtedly the cave statues. In addition to the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, which are larger, the more famous ones are Shanxi Datong Yungang, Taiyuan Tianlong Mountain, Henan Luoyang Longmen, Gongxian Grotto Temple, Gansu Tianshui Maiji Mountain, Yongjing Bingling Temple, Xiangtang Mountain between Hebei and Henan, Nanjing Qixia Mountain, etc., all were built in the era of the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
-
It reflects the social phenomenon that the emperors of the Northern and Southern Dynasties believed in Buddhism and Buddhism prevailed.
-
Buddhism flourished, and many buildings and stone carvings were left behind, which have become today's cultural heritage.

You tell him that Western Elysium is very good, there is ** paved with ground, and he was born there and lived countless years. There are trees everywhere, the trees are very fragrant, the fruits are very delicious, there are a lot of people, and it is very lively. But there is one requirement, that is, there is no Amitabha Buddha in the south.
You can go after you die. There is no Amitabha Buddha in the south.
-
We are Taoist. Pay attention to paying yin debts, which are the debts owed by you after you died in your previous life, you went to the underworld, you were penniless, you took care of the pass, and so on, and they were deducted from the good fortune of the next life after reincarnation.
-
This claim has no scientific basis and has not been scientifically proven.
We should believe in science and rational thinking, and not be superstitious or rely on supernatural forces.
If a person is in debt, then it should be resolved in a positive and reasonable way, such as by working hard, earning money to pay off the debt, etc. At the same time, attention should be paid to saving expenses and financial management to avoid another debt crisis.

Buddhism is the same as Taoism.
The gods are like adults, and we are like children, and although adults are busy with work every day, they also need to care about their children's learning. Even some adults, taking care of children is their job in itself.
-
The gods are their own hearts, and the judgment of the gods is the judgment of themselves.
-
The gods have supernatural powers, they can see far away, and they are responsible for a large area by themselves, and they record everything that happens in it.
-
Buddhism also talks about being able to be within the realm of God everywhere. There are gods who specialize in managing human beings, so everything you do is seen, and there are many gods who don't care about things in the world, for example, many arhats, Buddhas, and Buddhas don't care, they have countless doppelgangers to manage.

I want us to be convinced of cause and effect, and we must not create karma.

According to Theravada Buddhism, through practice, one can see the smallest unit of this material world, see past lives and future lives, and attain liberation through one's own witnesses, as follows:
According to Buddhism, the world is made up of material and spiritual phenomena, which are called color dharma and spiritual phenomena called nomenclature dharma.
On the basis of having the concentration of meditation or near-line concentration, one can practice the four worlds of separate views, and then in the transparent body of the four worlds, one can see the smallest unit that makes up the material world: color gathering. Color aggregation is constantly living and dying, and there are two types of color aggregation, transparent and opaque.
If you look at the color gathering through the light of wisdom, you will find that there are 8-10 methods of color that make up the color gathering, which is how the material world is composed.
After seeing the material composition, through the practice of the nomenclature of the name, the naming is made up of the mind and the mind, and the mind and the mind are constantly generating and dying, and the speed is very fast, hundreds of millions of minds and minds arise and disappear every second.
Through this practice, I discovered that the world is made up of names and colors that are constantly born and destroyed, and that there is no such immutable thing as self and soul in the world, and thus I get rid of the wrong views of the self and soul in my mind.
Then, through the practice of looking for the cause of the occurrence of the Fa Dharma, you will find that the reason for the successive occurrence of the Fa Se Dharma is due to greed and lust. By tracing the cause of the birth of the Dharma through the practice, one can illuminate past lives, and by tracing the continuity of the Dharma of Names, one can see the future development of the Dharma and the moment of its extinction, so that one can see future lives.
Therefore, the doubts about reincarnation and the Dharma are dispelled.
These are the first two stages of the sixteen views of wisdom in Buddhism: the wisdom of distinguishing between names and colors, and the wisdom of receiving the mind.
A detailed description of the 16 views can be found in the Treatise on the Pure Path

Does the landlord know the hermit of the ancients? Or not a monk or a Taoist, or a monk or a Taoist.
Nowadays, it is not necessary to escape the world, because today's religious system makes monks "religious practitioners." If the landlord has a wise heart and a certain economic foundation, it is better to find a true and mysterious master to apprentice. But if you don't become a naturalized citizen, you can be a layman, and it is convenient to advance and retreat.

Buddhists will recite this poem: "Life is rare and has been obtained, Buddhism is difficult to smell and has been heard today, this body is not to this life, but to what life is this body."
-
It's not something you want to do, but I thought about it when I was in junior high school. Do you think that ordination is an escape? First of all, you don't have the right idea.
What are you running away from, and can you escape it? Sooner or later, you have to face it, you have to overcome it, you can achieve something. It is not enough to run away.
The real purpose of being a monk is to specialize, to put oneself in a better situation, to concentrate on one's cultivation, not to escape. Then if a person wants to specialize, there will definitely be karma that interferes with you, so your karma is heavy or your good fortune is not enough, and you can't tell you that home, you don't have that opportunity. It's the same if you want to escape, the purpose is not right, and it may not work.
I hope you can put more effort into your heart and change your mind. As for learning Buddhism and Taoism, firstly, it depends on chance, and secondly, if you enter it, you will understand what to do.
-
I don't think you understand the teachings of Buddhism, but we are all in the pursuit of liberation, and all people who have faith are in pursuit of liberation, and the liberation aspects of psychological pursuit are different when you are told that you can cultivate any other method, step by step, and Buddhism is to focus on the focus. It is the essence of any method of liberation.

-
I also think so, there must be a fault in history, and what has been handed down for thousands of years must have its certain truth, otherwise it would not have been handed down for so many years, but many things we can't explain now, and science is not omnipotent.
