Why can t I surf the Internet after manually setting the IP address?

Check two items first.

1. The manually set IP format and the automatically obtained IP format.

The router address pool is automatically obtained, and the format is generally available when manually set.

If it is forced to be set to the first 3 digits, you will not be able to access the Internet.

2. If it is not the case described in 1, check whether the manually set IP is occupied by someone else's device.

There cannot be two identical IP addresses in a network.

Check method - automatically get an IP, and then use this computer to ping the IP you want to set, if it is passed, it means that it is occupied.

The ping method is available.

If it is a first-level network port of the network, which is not a router, the IP of this port generally cannot be set manually, and can only be obtained automatically.

The company should be a LAN café, and your company's subnet IP has a range, that is to say, only fill in the IP assigned to you by the broadband company to access the Internet.

IP is not something that can be changed randomly. If you set an IP with a different segment in the network, your data packets will not even be able to go out of the intranet. Not to mention the public network.

If you set it wrong, ping it first, and then bind the fixed IP according to the information details you pinged.

Private network segment IPs are used for personal use in the company

When you change a foreign IP, you may not be able to access the Internet if others are already using this IP, you can change the DNS. It depends on whether your company is involved in Netcom and telecommunications.

The DNS is different for each province and city.

The IP address is set incorrectly, or the DNS is set incorrectly.

Reason: The fixed IP address set is wrong, resulting in the inability to access the Internet.

Solution: 1. First press win+r to bring up the running window, enter cmd and click OK.

2. Open the run window and enter "ipconfig".

3. Click Enter to automatically obtain the IP address information of the currently connected network, remember the information.

4. Open "View Network Status and Tasks" in the Control Panel.

5. After entering, click "Change adapter settings" on the left side of Yanbi.

6. Right-click on the currently connected network icon and select the "Properties" button.

7. After opening the properties, click on the version 4 of the agreement, and then select "Properties".

8. Click to use the IP address below, enter the IP address you viewed before and confirm it to surf the Internet.
