    3. Review.     The validity period of the food production license is generally not more than 5 years, and the validity period of the production license for different foods is specified in the corresponding regulatory documents. Within 6 months before the expiration of the food production license, the enterprise shall submit an application for renewal to the quality and technical supervision department that originally accepted the application for the food production license.

    The annual examination system is implemented for food production licenses. Enterprises that have obtained a food production license shall, within the validity period of the certificate, submit an application for annual examination to the quality and technical supervision department at or above the municipal (prefecture) level within one month before the expiration of each year.

    If a food production and processing enterprise has major changes in the production conditions of food raw materials, production processes, production equipment, etc., or develops and produces new types of food, it shall, within 3 months after the change, submit an application for change of food production license to the quality and technical supervision department that originally accepted the application for food production license. When the name of the enterprise changes, it shall submit an application for changing the name of the food production license to the quality and technical supervision department that originally accepted the application for the food production license within 3 months after the name change.
