On December 26, Beijing time, according to the NBA's official website, the league announced the first batch of voting results for the 2016 All-Star Game today, with Lakers star Kobe Bryant temporarily leading the way with 719,235 votes, Stephen Curry of the Warriors (510, 202) and LeBron James (357,937) of the Cavaliers second and third respectively.
Not long ago, the 37-year-old Kobe Bryant officially announced that he will retire at the end of this season. Whether it's the NBA league, the players, or the fans at large, they all want Kobe Bryant to be selected to the NBA All-Star Game for the 18th time in the final season of his career. So far, Kobe Bryant, who has been assigned to the frontcourt this year, is currently in the league with 719,235 votes.
The second-to-fifth most voted frontcourt players in the West were: Durant, Griffin, Leonard and the Warriors' Green.
Curry, the Warriors' new regular season MVP, is currently second in the league with 510,202 votes and first in the Western Conference. In the Western Conference guards, the second to fifth votes are: Westbrook, Paul, Thompson and Harden;
In the East, Cavaliers star James is currently first in the East and third in the league with 357,937 votes. The second to fifth largest number of Eastern frontcourt players were: George, Drummond, Anthony and Gasol;
The current highest-receiving vote among Eastern defenders is Wade of the Heat, who received 300,595 votes. The guards behind Wade are: Irving, Lowry, Butler and Wall.
Jeremy Lin, the Hornets' Chinese-American point guard, currently ranks eighth among Eastern Conference guards with 61,832 votes.
The NBA will announce the voting for the Toronto All-Star Game in three phases, the next two on January 8 and January 15, 2016. Voting officially closes on January 19, 2016, and the starting lineup for the 2016 All-Star Game East and West will be officially announced on January 22 through the US TNT.

2015 NBA All-Star Game: The Western All-Stars defeated the Eastern All-Stars 163-158.
On February 16, 2015, Beijing time, the 2015 NBA All-Star Game kicked off in New York, and the Western All-Star Team defeated the Eastern 163-158. The West scored 163 points, tying the record set last year, while the combined 321 points scored by both teams set a new all-time record.
In the West, Russell Westbrook scored 41 points off the bench, just one point off the All-Star record. James Harden almost had a triple-double with 29 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, LaMarcus Aldridge had 18 points and Stephen Curry had 15 points and nine rebounds.
In the East, LeBron James had 30 points and seven assists, John Wall had 19 points and seven assists, Kyle Korver had 21 points and Kyrie Irving had 11 points off the bench. Hosts Carmelo Anthony scored 14 points on just 6-of-20 shooting.
Russell Westbrook, a backup point guard for the Western Stars, finished off the bench with 41 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals, and was the second-highest single-game score in All-Star history, behind only Wilt Chamberlain's record of 42 points set in 1962.

But I also voted, and the result was the same as the first one that came out of the first stage.

Based on the results of the voting so far, the starters in the West will be: Kobe, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green.
The starters in the East will be: LeBron James, Paul George, Andre Drummond, Dwyane Wade and Kyrie Irving.
