The drum kit should be tuned. We should first put the drum skin well, press on the collapse circle, one by one screw first slightly on it, choose a screw as the starting point, first set you as the starting point of the screw twist half a circle, and then adjust the starting point diagonal screw, then adjust the diagonal right, and then to the diagonal, and then to the right, in this order little by little debugging.
Once you've made sure the drum skin is taut, use the hammer head of your drumstick to hit the edge of the drum at each screw position clockwise and hear if the sound is the same, relax a little when it's high, and tighten it down until it's the same tone.
It is advisable to add a quilt to the drum for sound absorption, and to make the tone of the kick drum thicker, but it is best to buy a sponge and stuff it in, because the sound absorption effect of the sponge is incomparable to that of a quilt.
The drum sound must have resonance, so that the timbre will be mellow and spread far, so the difference of plus or minus 10% in the tightness of the upper and lower skin can roughly obtain a better resonance sound.
It is best to adjust the resonance time of different drum sounds to be consistent, you can adjust the lower skin tightly, or paste thick tape to shorten the resonance time, but it takes a lot of effort to adjust it well.
When playing in a large venue, if you add a weak sound ring, the drum sound will not travel far, the resonance will be short, the drum beat will not be clear, and the percussion force will be reduced.
Any drum cannot be tuned if the barrel is not rounded, or if the edge of the barrel is uneven in contact with the drum skin.

1.Starting with the kick drum, place the kick drum on the ground and adjust the kick length.
Short the outside drum frame 1 2 inches off the ground.
2.Next, after installing the pedal, first adjust the height of the drumstick, the drumstick hits the center of the drum skin, or a little higher than the center, the sound of the drum will be different, please adjust it as needed.
3.Then adjust the angle at which the drumstick swings back, and when the pedal is relaxed, the drumstick does not touch the leg tube.
4.Then adjust the tightness of the drumstick spring, this depends on personal habits, it is more effortless to adjust the looseness, but it will affect the speed, adjust too tightly and the feet will soon get tired, and you will have to try many times to find the elasticity you like.
5.Next, adjust the position and height of the drum chair so that the knees are slightly lower than the hips when the heels are raised. But it varies from person to person, as long as it is effortless, fast, and easy and strong.
6.The next step is to adjust the height of the snare drum, so that when the drummer's hands are lowered easily and naturally, the stick should be able to hit just the center of the snare drum.
7.Once the position of the snare drum is determined, the position of the hi-hat can be determined, and the height of the snare drum can be adjusted after the position is determined, which is about the point that the drum stick can be flattened to the edge when hitting with the right hand.
8.Then adjust the tom tom, based on the position of the drummer, and when you look at the drum surface with your eyes, you can see the center of the drum.
The angle of the tom is based on the height of the drum stick about one inch from the rim of the drum when it is most naturally and easily hit on the drum surface.
10.After the drum is ready, the cymbals are finally adjusted, and the position of the edge of the cymbals is based on the principle of not covering the tom tom, and the height is determined by the length and preference of each person's hand, but it is not necessary to erect the cymbals half a day high for the sake of visual beauty when hitting.

1 Starting with the snare drum, relax the upper and lower sides of the snare completely.
