How to disassemble the Epson P50 printhead

For more than ten years of repairing inkjet printers, it is really necessary to disassemble the printhead for repair, and there have not been a few.

In fact, most of the printheads are not really blocked, but most of them are an illusion caused by too much air in the cartridge.

If you suspect that the sprinkler is clogged, use the following method to determine it:

Remove the metal needle in front of the syringe and attach it to the 2-3cm infusion tube.

Press the cartridge key, which is the key with a drop of ink printed on the key, and the cart will move out. When the car stops, unplug the power cord to prevent the car from returning to the parking space.

Unplugging the power cord will not harm the printer.

Unplug the ink cartridge, connect the other end of the infusion tube on the syringe to the clogged nozzle ink column, and pump air. Note: It's pumping, not pushing.

If it feels unobstructed, it's not that the nozzle is clogged, but that the cartridge has too much air;

If it feels like a lot of effort, it's a clogged sprinkler.

In either case, with our safe repair technology, no part of the printer will be affected. And it's simple, safe, and effective. The vast majority do not have to disassemble the printhead and cartridge.

Faint dismantling the print head, I have a headache when I hear it, you must have a few short needles! It is a very troublesome problem to change the needle of the print head, you first check the tube corresponding to the 24 needles to see if it is broken.

That's when it's not bad, you have to change the needle.

Open all the screws to see a 3-corner shelf and copper sheet to open him, you can see the needle, find out the bad needle to change it, the headache problem to give you a picture reference.

1. Pull the printhead out of the printer first: you can remove the small ink sac or ink cartridge, or you can remove the protective cover on the data line on the BAI printhead, both of which can pull the printhead out of the printer.

2. Then use a screwdriver to unscrew the screw that fixes the print head.

3. Carefully unplug the cable so that you can remove the nozzle.

First, unplug the printer's data and power cord. After that, on the back of the printer, you need to disassemble a screw and a clip on the left and right. This is shown in the circle below.

After that, turn the printer over, and see that there will be a clip on the left and right sides of the bottom, and use a flat-edge screwdriver to pry it. The red circle in the figure below shows the slice where the clip is located.

After that, the top cover can be removed as shown in the picture below.

After that, remove a small iron plate facing it, one screw on the left and one on the right.

After that, look at the left and right sides of the nozzle, there will be a clip on each side, and when dismantling, remove the cartridge first.

After that, gently press outward to remove the top part. The following image style appears. At this time, remove the belt from the motor, if the operation feels bad, it is recommended to remove the motor, two-phase screws, then the belt will fall. At this point, you can take off the sprinkler directly.

It takes some gadgets and patience to remove the epson 5290 printhead, here are some steps for reference:

6.If you need to replace the printhead, reinstall it in reverse order.

3) Select "Nozzle Check", select "Print" according to the on-screen prompts, and the printer will print out the nozzle check sample;

4) If the printed nozzle inspection pattern is missing color or broken line, please select the "Print Head Cleaning" button;

5) It is recommended to leave the print head for 24 hours to fully soak the ink into the print head and then do a nozzle check to avoid wasting the ink;
