Try changing banks. The neighborhood committee proves that I haven't heard of it, and the general bank gives it to exchange.

If the RMB is damaged and the rejection is mainly determined by the staff of the financial institution. In particular, the residual currency that the bank does not exchange must be returned to the holder in the end.
This is because according to Article 4 of the Measures for the Exchange of Defective RMB, the exchange of mutilated and defaced RMB is divided into two situations: "full amount" and "half amount".
The first case: the denomination of the banknote can be identified, but the remaining three-quarters (including three-quarters) of the face value, and the design and text on the banknote can be connected according to the original banknote, the bank or financial institution should be exchanged in accordance with the regulations, and the value of the banknote denomination is exchanged.
In the second case, if the banknote can be denominational, but the remaining one-half to three-quarters of the face value of the banknote, if the design and text can be linked according to the original, the bank or financial institution needs to exchange half of the banknote denomination. However, if the banknote is missing a quarter in the shape of a cross, it will be exchanged for half of the original denomination.
There are also the following situations that need to be noted: if the redemption amount is less than one cent, there is no need to redeem it. If it is five cents, two cents will be given according to the exchange amount.
In particular, when a financial institution handles a mutilated or defaced renminbi, it should explain the recognized exchange result to the exchanger. If it cannot be exchanged, it is necessary to explain the reason and return the residual currency to the holder.

I see that there is such a provision in the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of Renminbi": [Article 3 The legal tender of the People's Republic of China is the Renminbi. No unit or individual may refuse to accept all public and private debts within the territory of the People's Republic of China in renminbi payment. Is there a contradiction with what was said upstairs?
I hope that a friend from the legal profession will explain it.
-
It's okay if you don't get to the word. rmb。It's just burned. You can also exchange the whole ash for half the money,. Half of 100 can be exchanged for 50
-
I don't think it has much to do with it, right?
Because the last time I went to the bank to change a banknote that had been trampled on, it was so badly damaged that it was missing a piece
It shouldn't matter.
-
As long as it's not counterfeit, it's illegal for you to refuse to accept it.
-
Upstairs is wrong.
As long as there are traces of fire, the bank will be very cautious and may also report it to the public security organ (because it may be obtained by looting in the fire).
If you are a private person, you can't refer to the bank's regulations, and the bank can't refuse to accept it.
This is the bank's regulation on the exchange of broken RMB:
As for the individual, the only thing that can be referred to is the "picky criteria for not suitable for circulating RMB".
1. The missing area of the banknote is more than 20 square millimeters.
2. There are more than 2 tears on the face of the banknote, the length of each place exceeds 5 mm, and the length of the tear exceeds 10 mm.
3. The face of the banknote has one of the circumstances in which the paper is soft, the ultra-wrinkle is more obvious, the decolorization, discoloration, deformation, and the anti-counterfeiting function of the ticket cannot be maintained.
4. The area of stains and scribbles on the banknote is more than 2 square centimeters; No more than 2 square centimeters, but one of the anti-counterfeiting features is obscured.
5. The coin has one of the circumstances of perforation, tearing, deformation, wear, oxidation, blurring of words, denomination numbers and patterns.
In fact, there are some banknotes in circulation that meet the criteria for obsolescence, but both parties to the transaction agree to use them, and they will continue to be in circulation.
Finally, it is advisable to explain patiently to the customer and hope that they understand.
