Sometimes we don't like Nero to burn the disc directly, hehe, for example, the burning disc runs out, and we want to save the content of a disc for later engraving, or engrave a boot disc, but I don't know if it is sure to be successful, you can burn it into an image file, and then test it with a virtual PC.

If you prefer, you can also use Nero as a virtual optical drive.

To make a disc image file with Nero, you first need to use Neroburning

In the Recorder menu, select Image

Do you want to make an NRG image of some files, or do you want to engrave an existing NRG file into a CD?

If you want to make an image file, it is recommended to use Ultraiso, which can make ISO, NRG, and other image files, extract the boot information of the boot disc, and also use the existing boot information to make a boot disc. It is also possible to burn.

The production function is much more powerful than Nero, and the burning function may be weaker.

Burn the image to a disc, for you believe it is no problem, select "Burn the burned image file to disc" in the copy backup.

Using Nero to do virtual burning will bring you an NRG image file, and change the burner in the open Nero interface to an image

The nrg file is an image file format of Nero. Not only VCDs, but also other data discs can be made into nRG files. NRG files can be burned to a disc using Nero, or they can be opened on a computer with a virtual optical drive to view the contents.

Make nrg:

Put the disc into the CD-ROM drive, open Nero, select "Copy Disc", and then select "Image Recorder [ CD-R RW] " for the "Destination CD-ROM Drive" and burn it. OK.

The following conditions are required to make a disc image file:

1. The computer needs to install an optical drive, that is, ***-ROM RW optical drive or CD-ROM RW optical drive.

2. The hard disk has enough space to store the video files.

3. Install the Ultraiso software.

Production method: 1. Put the disc you want to make into an image file into the optical drive.

2. Open "My Computer", right-click on the CD-ROM drive, and select "Ultraiso-Create Disc Image File".

3. In the pop-up "Save ISO File" window, select the path you want to save, enter the name of the image file you want to save in the "File Name" box, and click "Save".

4. Display the "Processing Process" interface and start making.

2.Create a hard disk image file.
