2.High temperature and drought dormant type. Cacti in hot and arid areas have a dormant habit in summer.

Therefore, watering in summer should be properly held, more water is easy to cause decay, less water will burn and dry phenomenon, summer should take shade, ventilation, spray and other measures to create a suitable environment, and reduce the number of watering before dormancy.

3.Epiphytic type. This type of cactus dormant period is generally after flowering, the time is shorter, the dormant period should be watered moderately, after dormancy should be restored to normal watering, but pay attention to the appropriate amount, otherwise it will cause growth, affect the flowering of the next year, epiphytic cactus is not dormant in winter, as long as the room temperature in winter is 15, you can water normally.

Watering from the edge of the pot – this is also not advisable. Because the edge of the pot is the junction between the soil and the pot, there is a large gap between the soil and the edge of the pot when it is time to water, so that the watering will quickly flow out of the bottom of the pot, and the roots of the flowers in the pot cannot absorb it at all.
