How to set up a wifi hotspot on a laptop.
Step-by-step] WiFi is a technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a wireless local area network. In order to solve the "fear" of friends about "disconnection", today I will teach you how to set up wifi in your notebook.
1. Check the NIC.
2. Open the attachment.
In the Start menu, follow the following order. All Programs Attachments Command Prompt
Command Prompt (right-click) Run as administrator.
3. Enter the command.
After opening the command prompt, enter "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=test key=0123456789", check whether there is an error, change it in time, and press enter after confirmation. At this point, the system has automatically created a WiFi hotspot for you, which is a unique hotspot for your computer.
4. Change the adapter settings.
Open Control Panel, find and open Network and Sharing Center, find Change Adapter Settings from the list box on the left, and double-click to open it. At this time, you can see that a new NIC is added to the original NIC and this is the new NIC you just set.
5. Set the attributes.

In the property box that opens, switch from the "Network" option to the "Sharing" option. Tick the first checkbox that says "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection." Then tick "Wi-Fi 2" in the selection box on the surface.

Refer to the preceding method, open the command prompt, enter "netsh wlan start hostednetwork", confirm that everything is correct, and click the enter key to confirm. At this time, the system will turn on the wifi hotspot for you.
8. Connect to a hotspot.
At this time, the computer has turned on the hotspot, set an easy-to-remember password, and then use the mobile phone to connect to the hotspot to access the Internet normally.
This is the most primitive computer setup method to set up wifi, and there are many steps. For friends who are not familiar with the structure of the computer, it is recommended that you can install some software, such as 360wifi, you can simply create a wifi hotspot and connect to the wifi hotspot, but the wifi speed of the software is slow and unstable. Friends can buy portable wifi, which has the same function as a router, and can provide wifi for laptops and mobile phones, which is very convenient.

Let's talk about what is a wifi hotspot in simple language? Convert the device's own signal into a WiFi signal and send it out, so that other portable devices (including tablets, laptops, and mobile phones) can connect to the network and connect to the Internet.
Today we are going to talk about two ways to turn on the hotspot, and it is obvious that the devices of the two hotspots are different. The first is to set up a wifi hotspot on the laptop, that is, other devices connect to wifi through this laptop; The other is to turn on the mobile phone wifi hotspot, then the other device can be connected to the Internet through the mobile phone.
Both applications are more common, so let's put them together.
Part 1: How to set up a wifi hotspot on a laptop?
After you turn on your computer, open your laptop's Control Panel — Network & Internet
Click on Network and Sharing Center, find Manage Wireless Network, and turn it on.
Then go in and add a wireless network, we select "Create temporary network", then "Manually connect to a wireless network", and then the next step.
In this case, you need to fill in the network name, select WEP as the security type, set the security key, and select Save this network. Once the settings are complete, the dialog box will be closed by displaying "Network is ready to use".
Then go back to the Manage Wireless Network panel interface, find "Change Adapter Settings", right-click "Ethernet", and select "Properties".
In the sharing, turn on Allow other networks to connect through this computer's Internet.
Second, turn on the wifi hotspot on the mobile phone.
First of all, turn on the mobile cellular data of the mobile phone to ensure that the mobile phone can surf the Internet normally.
Open your phone's settings, find Wireless & network settings, and tap Cellular tethering.
At this time, you can set the WLAN hotspot, and you can set the hotspot name and password in the pop-up dialog box.
Then save it, and it will prompt the hotspot to complete. This makes it possible to use the hotspot to surf the web with other devices.
The steps are written very clearly, and there are no step-by-step screenshots, so everyone must be able to understand it.
The first one must be a notebook with intact wireless functions, and the second mobile phone turns on wifi, which is the setting step of the Android system, and there are slight differences between different brands, but the general process is fine.
