Lack of water, leakage, oil leakage, no response to starting, no forward gear, etc. are all called common engine faults, which are more popular, I hope you understand.
-
What are the eight common faults of car engines? There are generally several situations in the fault diagnosis of engine idle shake, the most common reason for the serious formation of car shake by engine carbon deposition is that the engine has a general idle jitter fuel additive cleaning agent, which can remove carbon deposition without disassembling the engine oil to clean the carbon sludge, which is very convenient to use, and the suspension differentiation is not blocked, and it is miscible with the engine oil and will not lead to delamination, so as to clean your engine better and safer.
-
Common engine faults are: 1. Engine abnormal noise: engine abnormal noise is divided into cold car abnormal noise and hot car abnormal noise, the oil pump can not establish oil pressure in the first time to form an oil film during cold start, and the parts are not lubricated during cold start, resulting in abnormal noise; 2. Engine carbon deposits
The main reason is that the engine is not completely burned when it is doing work, and the gelatinous substances produced by the impurities in the fuel and oil during combustion are added, and carbon deposits are formed over time; 3. The throttle is often dirty: a dirty throttle will cause excessive idling, weak acceleration, engine light alarm, etc.; 4. Engine oil burning: The reason for burning engine oil is generally that the oil is not marked correctly, the valve oil seal is aging or damaged, and the piston ring seal is not tight, resulting in damage to the oil, oil-oil separator or crankcase ventilation.

1. Sensor.
Sensors are the car's "sensory organs", and if they go wrong, the engine data will be disordered, causing the car's ECU to misjudge and light up the engine failure light. The more common sensors are water temperature, crankshaft position, air flow, inlet air temperature, oxygen sensor, etc. Solving the engine failure caused by the sensor is very simple, and you only need to replace or adjust the sensor that has the problem.
Oxygen sensor: The pre-oxygen and post-oxygen are respectively before and after the three-way catalytic converter, and the effects between them are also different. The pre-oxygen is used to detect the air-fuel ratio of the engine under different working conditions, and the ECU of the car adjusts the fuel injection amount and calculates the ignition time through the signal.
The function of the rear oxygen sensor is to detect whether the three-way catalytic converter is working properly. A faulty oxygen sensor can cause the mixture to be too thin or too concentrated, which can illuminate the engine fault light.
Air Flow Sensor:
The air flow sensor is also known as the air flow meter, which detects the amount of air inhaled and converts it into an electrical signal to the engine computer, and finally the ECU decides the amount of fuel according to the optimal air-fuel ratio. Too thick or too thin of the mixture can also be a direct effect of the air flow sensor problem, as well as the engine failure light.
2. Oil. Both oil and fuel are fluids, and the engine needs to be filled with the oil of the corresponding conditions in order to work properly. If the owner does not add oil as required, it will lead to accelerated engine wear and abnormal work for a long time, and the engine fault light will be lit.
Generally, the faulty lamp can be eliminated by replacing the oil with the corresponding conditions.
3. Mixed gas combustion.
There are many possible factors that can lead to poor combustion of gas mixtures, including spark plug failure, ignition coil failure, fuel pump failure, oil circuit blockage, etc. It also has an impact on the engine with carbon deposits or knocking, and the engine fault light is on. The ways to eliminate faulty lamps include replacing spark plugs, cleaning oil circuits, cleaning carbon deposits, etc.
Although there are many factors that cause the engine fault lamp to be lit, the fault can be further identified through the fault diagnostic instrument. If the engine fault light turns on and off, and the car has no obvious fault condition, it is likely to be a temporary fault. It is difficult to judge the impact of temporary faults on the car.
Although the car is still moving, we recommend that the owner still need to check it if he has time. If the engine fault light is always on, and the car still has problems such as failure to start, frequent stalling, engine shaking, and insufficient power, the owner should contact the 4S shop or repair shop for maintenance as soon as possible.

1.Makes a clicking sound when lighting a fire:
There is a clicking sound of grinding iron when ignition starts, and only the starter is transferred to the engine, which is mainly caused by the serious wear of the starter single gear and the engine flywheel ring gear. The temporary solution is to depress the clutch and shift back into neutral, which can be repeated several times. Another solution is to close the key door, hang up the premium car and push it forward or backward, and then feel the engine turn on and start the ignition again.
2.No response when illuminated:
This situation is generally caused by poor contact of the starting contact of the key door, poor contact of the plug under the key door, blown fuse, damage to the starting relay, damage to the starter electromagnetic switch, loss of the terminal of the starter electromagnetic switch, damage to the starter motor, poor contact of the battery poles, and loss of battery power.
Solution: First open the engine cover and use the wire to short circuit the thin terminal on the starter live wire and the solenoid switch. If the starter works, it means that the circuit between the key door and the starter is faulty.
If there is no response during the short circuit, use a screwdriver to short the two thick terminals of the solenoid switch. If the motor rotates, it means that the electromagnetic start of the starter is damaged. If there is no response or only a small spark, the carbon brush inside the starter is stuck or badly worn, and the battery is dead.
Turn on the headlamp and observe the brightness of the headlamp. If the brightness of the headlight is normal, the battery is charged. You can find a small hammer or turn your head and tap the motor a few times to solve the problem.
3.There will be a continuous clicking sound when ignition:
If there is a constant clicking sound when starting a fire, the main reason is that the battery is damaged by severe lack of power. The solution is to drive the car with a battery of the same volt and see if the charging indicator on the dashboard goes off. If it is not extinguished, it means that the generator does not generate electricity and the battery loses power.
If the indicator light is off, it means that the battery is damaged and a new battery needs to be replaced.
4.Weak starter when illuminated:
When ignition, I felt that the starter was weak or could not move the engine at all. This reason is generally divided into two reasons, one is the insufficient battery, and the other is the starter itself.

Common engine faults include engine cold engine shaking, engine hot engine shaking, engine abnormal noise, engine carbon deposit, high engine water temperature, engine oil leakage, etc. There is judder when the engine is idling. There are many reasons why a hot car can idle, the most common being an engine misfire.
Generally, check whether the spark plug, ignition coil, fuel nozzle, oil circuit and exhaust gas are blocked.
Generally, check whether the spark plug, ignition coil, fuel nozzle and oil circuit, exhaust gas are blocked, whether the fuel label is matched, whether the engine carbon deposit is removed, whether the throttle valve is carbon deposited, and whether the engine rubber block is firm.
The formation of carbon deposits is mainly caused by incomplete combustion when the engine is doing work, and the colloidal substances produced by the combustion of impurities in fuel and engine oil will form carbon deposits over time. Carbon deposits can cause engine shaking, increased fuel consumption, difficulty starting, unstable idling, poor acceleration, and excessive exhaust gases. The solution can be mitigated by removing carbon deposits.
The high engine water temperature is mainly reflected in the engine water temperature alarm or boiling phenomenon. The reason for the high water temperature is that the thermostat failure loses the function of adjusting the size and circulation of the radiator, the external dirt of the radiator, the lack of coolant, the unclean air in the cooling system leads to the decrease in heat dissipation efficiency, and the efficiency decreases due to the failure of the electronic fan, the failure of the water pump, the failure of the temperature sensor, etc.
How to solve common engine faults.
adjusting, repairing, or replacing throttle position sensors; Clean or replace the injectors; Replace the spark plugs; Check the cooling system and more.
The idle switch is not turned off.
Allianz Global Assistance gives the diagnosis: turn on the air when idling, turn the steering wheel. If the engine speed does not rise, this fault can be demonstrated.
Workaround: Adjust, repair, or replace the throttle position sensor.
Engine fuel consumption is too high.
Excessive engine fuel consumption means that its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers exceeds the specified standard value, which is much greater than normal.
Solution: Disassemble the injectors and check whether each injector is leaking. If there is any abnormality, clean or replace the injectors.
Burn the oil. There was a problem with the engine seal, which caused too much clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall, resulting in oil burning.
Solution: Replace the spark plug.
The car engine makes an unusual noise.
If one of the engine's systems fails, it can easily cause abnormal noise in the engine. Such as: connecting rod bearings, serious lack of oil, engine overheating, etc. will cause abnormal engine noise. This noise can easily wear out the machine and affect the normal use of the engine.

The car dashboard prompts that when the coolant temperature is abnormal, you should stop the car to check whether the coolant is leaking. It should be noted that the engine should not be stopped immediately when the car is hot, nor can the coolant be filled immediately, but the engine temperature should be normal before operation. If there is a lot of coolant, the engine thermostat and fan heat dissipation fault should be ruled out.
