Hu Chuanhuai, born on August 27, 1964 (the 20th day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar), is a native of Pengxi, Sichuan. He is a well-known scholar of literature and history and an expert in the study of Bashu culture. He graduated from Sichuan Institute of Education with a bachelor's degree in literature.
