The Ming Ding Mausoleum is the mausoleum of the thirteenth emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Shenzong Xian Zhu Yijun (year name Wanli). Two of his queens are also buried here. The mausoleum is located at the foot of Dayu Mountain, located in the southwest of Changling, and was built in 1584-1590 (Wanli 12 to Wanli 18).
The main buildings are the Qi'en Gate, the Qi'en Palace, the Treasure City, the Ming Tower and the underground palace. It covers an area of 182,000 square meters. It is the only one of the Ming Tombs that has been excavated.

Crossing the bridge is a tall stele pavilion. There are more than 300 buildings around the pavilion, such as the ancestral sacrifice office, the slaughtering pavilion, and the Dingling Prison. Further back is the outermost wall of the cemetery, Wai Luo Cheng (the outer wall of the wall).
The overall layout of the Dingling Underground Palace is also in the shape of a circle in front and back. On the periphery of it is a "Wailuo Castle" that includes Baocheng and the front courtyard of Baocheng. The area of the castle is about 180,000 square meters.
