First open the acetylene valve at the back, and then open the oxygen valve at the bottom (the one hooked by the middle finger of the right hand) to adjust the flame after ignition, and then turn on the high-pressure oxygen above to cut when the cutting is done, and turn off the hyperbaric oxygen valve after cutting, and close the acetylene first when not in use.

When ignition, the oxygen valve is slightly opened, then the acetylene valve is opened, and the flame is ignited with an open flame (electron gun or low-voltage electric spark where available, etc.). At this time, the flame is a carbonization flame, and then gradually open the oxygen valve to adjust the carbonization flame to a neutral flame, such as continuing to increase oxygen (or reduce acetylene) to obtain an oxidation flame.

During ignition, there may be a continuous sound of "firing", the reason is that acetylene is impure, and the impure acetylene should be released and re-ignited; Sometimes it is difficult to ignite because the amount of oxygen is too large, and the oxygen valve should be slightly closed again. When igniting, do not point the hand holding the fire source directly at the welding nozzle or point it to others to prevent burns.

The welding rod should not be too close to the weldment when the arc is triggered by electric welding

1. Arc ignition and ignition; The hard use of alkaline electrode coatings requires strength and speed to ignite the arc.

2. Acid electrode does not need to be used too hard because of the fragile coating, because it is not good to drop the coating at once; Scratching can be used when there is no coating at the end of the electrode.

Align the electrode at the end of the electrode, however.

The electrode is scratched on the surface of the weld after the source, and when the arc is ignited, the metal is gone.

At the beginning of mass melting, the distance between the electrode end and the welded surface is kept between 2 -4 mm, and the arc can be burned stably.

If the electrode and electrode stick together, simply shake the electrode a few times.

If the welded part cannot be removed from the welded part, the welding pliers should be loosened immediately, and the welding circuit should be disconnected, and the welding rod should be removed after cooling.

To put it simply, the welding rod should not be too close to the weldment during arc welding, and it is okay to touch it without touching it.
