Not long after, the Emperor of Heaven knew about the theft of the fire, so the Emperor of Heaven sent a flood to drown the fire in the world and punish him.

The flood of the earth was like a beast of prey, and it frightened people into fleeing in all directions. In order to preserve the fire, he built a high platform, set up a shed to shelter from the rain, and stayed alone on the high platform to guard the fire. When the flood receded, when people came back from all directions, the fire on the high platform was still burning, but Yan Bo starved to death by the fire.

2. The legend of Zhurong, the god of fire.

Zhu Rong's original name was Li, and legend has it that he was born in a clan society and was the son of a clan leader. Li has been particularly fond of fire since he was a child, and at that time, the Suiren clan had just invented drilling wood to make fire, and people lacked knowledge about the preservation and use of fire.

Once, when he was on a long migration with his father, he brought only stones to drill wood for fire, because it was inconvenient to walk with him. At night, everyone was going to use fire, but Li couldn't get the fire, so he was so angry that he threw the stone to the mountain, but the stone fell and splashed a few sparks.

The clever Li saw an idea and immediately came up with a new way to make fire. He picked the dried reeds, knocked them against the reeds with two sharp stones, and the sparks splashed on the reeds, and then a light blow made a fire. This is the later method of striking stones to make fire.

Therefore, at that time, the Yellow Emperor named him the official of fire and gave him the name Zhurong.

Gonggong lost badly, and crashed into Buzhou Mountain in a fit of anger, who knew that Buzhou Mountain was a pillar of heaven, and the pillar of heaven was broken, and the sky also fell, bringing disaster to all things in the world, so it attracted the story of Nuwa mending the sky.

Then a young man noticed that the howls of the beasts that had been around him were gone, and he thought, "Is the beast afraid of this shiny thing?" So he bravely went to the fire, and he found that he was so warm.

He excitedly greeted everyone: "Come on, this fire is not terrible at all, it brings us light and warmth!" At this time, people found a beast that had been burned not far away, emitting a burst of fragrance.

People gathered around the fire and ate the meat of the roasted beasts, thinking that they had never eaten such a delicacy. The people felt the preciousness of the fire, and they picked up the branches, lit the fire, and kept it. Every day there are people who take turns guarding the fire and not letting it go out.

But one day the man on duty fell asleep, and the fire burned out the branches and went out. People are plunging back into darkness and cold, and the pain is excruciating.

The great god Fuxi saw all this in the heavens, and he came to the dream of the young man who first discovered the usefulness of fire, and told him: "There is a kingdom of Suiming in the far west, and there is fire, and you can go there and get it back." The young man woke up, remembered what the great god had said in his dream, and decided to go to Suiming Kingdom to find the fire.

The young man climbed over the mountains, waded through the big rivers, passed through the forests, and went through hardships to finally come to the country of Suiming. But there was no sunlight here, day and night, and there was darkness everywhere, and there was no fire at all. The young man was very disappointed and sat down under a big tree called "Suimu" to rest.

Suddenly, there was a flash of light in front of the young man's eyes, and another flash, illuminating the surroundings very brightly. The young man immediately stood up and looked around for a light source. At this time, he noticed that on the Suimu tree, several large birds were pecking at the insects on the tree with their short, hard beaks.

As soon as they pecked, bright sparks flashed from the trees. When the young man saw this, a flash of inspiration flashed in his mind. He immediately broke some branches of Suimu and used small branches to drill large branches, and the branches really flashed with fire, but they couldn't come.

The young man was not discouraged, he found various branches and patiently rubbed them with different branches. Finally, smoke came out of the branches, and then there was a fire. The young man burst into tears of joy.
