    Technical Code for Highway Bridge and Culvert Construction (JTG TF50 2011) (hereinafter referred to as the new "Bridge Regulations") is based on the requirements of the "Notice on Issuing the 2006 Highway Engineering Standard Revision Project Plan" (Jiao Lu Fa [2006] No. 439 document), which is revised by CCCC First Highway Engineering Bureau as the editor-in-chief of the "Technical Code for Highway Bridge and Culvert Construction" (JTJ041 2000), which is suitable for the construction of new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects of highway bridges and culverts at all levels.

    Technical Code for Highway Bridge and Culvert Construction (JTG TF50 2011) highlights the maturity and advancement of technology, and stipulates the lack of guidelines, technical requirements and control principles for key construction processes in the construction of highway bridge and culvert engineering, and coordinates with relevant standards and specifications, and the main content of the revision is:

    1. The new "Bridge Regulations" has added 4 new chapters on the basis of the original specification: Chapter 13 Expansion of Foundation, Bearing Cap and Pier Abutment, Chapter 20 Marine Environment Bridge Side Kailiang, Chapter 25 Safe Construction and Environmental Protection, Chapter 26 Project Delivery, and a total of 26 chapters of the revised provisions.

    2. The new "Bridge Regulations" have added epoxy coated steel bars, high-performance concrete, vacuum-assisted grouting , non-bonded prestressing and in vitro prestressing, post-pile grouting at the bottom of the pile, membrane bag cofferdam, steel arch bridge, oblique leg rigid frame bridge, widening and reconstruction beam bridge splicing construction, large box girder whole hole prefabricated installation, steel volt holding tower, low tower cable-stayed bridge, cable-stayed bridge without back cable, self-anchored suspension bridge, corrugated steel culvert, culvert extension, reinforced soil abutment, etc.

    3. For concrete engineering, according to the relevant standards newly promulgated and implemented in recent years, the relevant provisions of the original specification have been revised and adjusted: clear requirements have been put forward for the alkali content of cement; The relevant indicators of aggregates are listed according to the standard of square hole sieve, and the original specification is round hole sieve; The apparent density, loose bulk density, porosity and water absorption requirements of coarse aggregate are listed. Stricter regulations have been made for mixed materials such as admixtures and admixtures; The requirements for durability indicators are added to the mix ratio design of concrete; The concrete strength inspection and evaluation standards have been revised.

    4. Clear requirements are put forward for the mechanical connection of steel bars, post-tensioned prestressed pipeline materials, excavated cast-in-place piles, caissons, cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, steel bridges, and marine environment bridge construction.

    5. In terms of safety construction, the planning of the construction site of the bridge and culvert project and the setting of temporary facilities, the equipment and the operators participating in the construction, the work at height, the water operation, the electricity at the construction site, the lifting and hoisting construction, the fire prevention, the seasonal construction, the blasting construction, and the safety of the construction of the bridge and culvert project in special areas are clearly stipulated; In terms of environmental protection, it mainly stipulates the prevention of water and soil pollution and loss, air pollution and noise pollution, and the protection of cultural relics, historic sites and natural ecological environment.
