    after hard".

First of all, check if VMware Tools is fully installed. VMware Tools contains the NIC drivers required for VMware VMs.

If that's okay, it's time to check the "hardware".

The "hardware" that supervises the network in VMware is the Network Type.

On the Network Type page, select the networking type of the VM NIC

Select the first option and use the bridge NIC (VMNet0 virtual NIC to indicate that the VM and the host (i.e., the computer running VMware Workstation software) are on the same network.

Select the second option and use a NAT NIC (VMNET8 virtual NIC to indicate that the VM can access the host and the network outside the host through the host in one direction, and the computer in the network other than the host cannot access the VM.

Select the third option and use only the on-premises network (vmnet1 virtual NIC), which means that the VMs can only access the host and all VMs that use the VMnet1 virtual NIC. Computers on a network other than the host cannot access the virtual machine, nor can it be accessed by the virtual machine.

Select the fourth option, No Network Connection, indicating that the virtual machine does not have a network connection to the host.

So you can see if the virtual machine can access the Internet.

A virtual machine is a virtual operating system on the hard disk of the host. So if the host file and the borrowed drive letter of the virtual machine are the same, the host file can be shared with the virtual machine.

Open sharing on win7: right-click the corresponding folder, select share, select a specific user, click share, and you're done.

Sharing on a virtual machine is similar.

When accessing, sometimes you need to enter the user name and password, and enter the corresponding user name and password.

    Nothing difficult should be.

Friends, you can solve this problem by following VM Tools. It's something that can be copied and pasted with each other. The specific location is the VM menu bar, click on the seventh item of the VM --- drop-down menu.

If it's not easy to share, it is recommended to install a software called "Feiqiu" on the XP system in VMware and Windows 7 system, so that the two systems can transfer files at any time.

Install VM Tools first, select the option "VM" in the top row of taskbars of the VM, left-click and select "Update VM Tools" or "Install VM Tools", set the network connection to "Bridge", the IP of the VM and the IP of the host are set to the same network segment, you can enter "ping" in cmd to verify that the ping is working, and open it in the virtual machine after the file share"Input"\\"Behind is your host address, click OK to see your shared information,I've tried it on my machine, you can share it without any problem.,Ask me if it doesn't work.。

The virtual machine and the physical machine are LAN relations, you share a folder right-click attribute of the virtual machine XP, back to your win7, the network in the computer can find your virtual machine, and then you can find the folder just shared.

The main reason is that the "password-protected sharing" in the win7 sharing settings is turned on and the XP computer cannot be accessed, so you can turn it off, refer to item 3 in the first section.

    1. Settings on win7:

1.Start -- Devices & Printers -- Select the printer you want to share -- Right-click -- Printer properties (note that it's not "Properties" on the last row) -- Share tab -- check both options; (At this point, the printer setup is complete).

2.The change of the working group changed all computers in the LAN to one working group.

win7: Computer -- Right click -- Properties -- Advanced System Settings -- Computer Name -- Change; (The workgroup is generally set up as a workgroup or others, and the computer name is set at will).

3.Set up Win7 Network & Sharing Center (Network - Right Click - Properties) (Confirm that it is on the home or work network).

    Select Change advanced sharing settings

Password-protected shared selections are turned off, and everything else is turned on.

    2. Settings on XP.

The same is the workgroup setup:

Right-click on my computer - > properties - > computer name - > change - change to the same workgroup name as win7 to join.

    3. Add a shared printer.

Once set up, you can access the computer with the printer directly in the workgroup - find the shared printer and double-click to connect.

Or use the following methods to add.

Start—> enter'Control Panel'- > printers and faxes -> add a printer -> select a network printer - > then browse for network printers - > select the computer with your computer name and press nextUntil it's done.

Note: 1If you can't access it after the above steps are completed, it is possible that you have not installed the "File Printer Sharing Protocol", and you can install the relevant protocols (the specific installation methods are not introduced here in many places on the Internet).

Access to win7 is a little slower, just wait for a while.

3.Make the shared printer the default for easy use.

Open the Network & Sharing Center, change the advanced sharing settings, enable network discovery, and select No Password

Check out the relevant permission options you have set on Win7. If the system is not a lite version, win7 will not be a problem. You set it in terms of win7 function permissions, it may be that the permissions are not enough.

If you have a printer installed on a 2008 or 2003 server, all machines don't have this problem.
