Southwest University of Science and Technology Commitment Nature and Environmental Protection Association This association is organized by students themselves, and is organized by the leadership and management of the Youth League Committee and the Student Affairs Office, with excellent teachers to guide them. The association serves the campus construction, pursues and advocates a new social trend of caring for the environment and everyone is responsible, raising the public's environmental awareness, promoting environmental protection with our actions, and driving others to join the ranks of environmental protection through education and publicity. With the accelerated development of China and the world economy, the overexploitation and inefficient use of resources have made the environment of China and the world deteriorate day by day, threatening the survival and development of mankind.

We are facing very serious environmental problems, and it has become a top priority to raise the environmental awareness of all mankind and protect the environment. As a pioneer force in China's public participation in environmental protection, university environmental protection clubs have developed rapidly in recent years. University environmental protection clubs are a special group in China, which has great decision-making and influence on society. In order to pursue and advocate a new social trend of caring for the environment and everyone is responsible, we will promote environmental protection with our actions, and drive others to join the ranks of environmental protection through education and publicity.

The association is organized by students and managed by the Youth League Committee and the Student Affairs Department, with excellent teachers to guide them. The association carries out activities with the purpose of committing to nature, caring for every piece of green, promoting environmental protection and protecting the environment.

On March 9, 2002, the association was awarded the title of "Ecological Guardian Team of Youth Volunteers for the Protection of the Mother River";

On August 18, 2004, the 3rd Green Camp of the Association won the third prize of the "First National College Students' Urban Water Survey".

In November 2004, the association was awarded the title of "Sichuan University Star Society" by the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Sichuan Provincial Student Federation;

On August 29, 2005, the 4th Green Camp of the Association "Concerned about Illegal Gold Mining in the Central Qinling Mountains" won the third prize of the "China Association for the Promotion of Environment and Culture" Small Funding;

In October 2006, the 5th Green Camp of the Association was awarded the title of "Excellent Social Practice Team".

For five consecutive years, it has been ranked among the five "excellent clubs" among more than 30 first-class societies of Southwest University of Science and Technology; In 2006, it was named "Star Club".

In 2010, the school club was reformed, and the association was rated as the only "boutique club" in the school.

In April 2012, the 9th Green Camp Research Report "Luban Reservoir Water Pollution Status and Evaluation" won the special prize of the 2nd Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Technology Competition of Southwest University of Science and Technology; In August of the same year, he won the third prize of the 5th National College Student Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Technology Competition.
