Colombia is home to the northern part of the Andes, the longest mountain range on the mainland. Heading inland to China, Chocó Province, the altitude rises steeply, and the eyes are gradually full of towering giants.
Located in the north, the Santa Marta region is home to the highest mountain in all of Colombia, the Pico Cristobal Colon, whose summit is covered in snow all year round, making it an ideal destination for mountaineers from all over the world. However, the most spectacular scenery in the Andes is in the Boyaca de la Cécoy, a mountain national park known as the "Parque Natural Sierra Nevada del Cocuy".
Between the mountains and the Chicamocha Valley, you can also feel the most majestic side of Colombia.
