IELTS Speaking is an important part of IELTS preparation. Before taking the IELTS speaking test, I remind you to pay attention to stepping on the points in advance.
The IELTS speaking test is very important for Chinese roast duck, and the test location may not be in the place of the pen, so this requires the roast duck to make more preparations before the test, in case of emergency, it is recommended that you must step on it.
1. Check the time of the speaking test online in time, and it is recommended to step on the point in advance.
Most of you know that the time of the IELTS Speaking test is often unknown to you when you register, and you must check it on the IELTS official website two days before the test. At this time, it is important to pay special attention to your test location, because in some cases, the IELTS writing and speaking are often taken at different locations in the same test center. The teacher strongly recommends that candidates go to their own speaking test room in advance after finishing the pen to avoid unnecessary trouble due to not being able to find the test room at that time.
Two: It is not impossible for Hou Kao to step on the point, but it is too late to prepare at this time.
Global Education IELTS online course teachers have found that many students will go to the entrance of the speaking test center a few hours before the mouth starts, in order to be able to get some information about the test from the students who have already completed the test. In fact, this is not unavoidable, because the number of test questions per day at a test center is often very limited, and some lucky students may also get those questions. But it's a matter of probability!
Laying a good foundation is the key.
3. When entering the waiting room, you must remember to sign in.
Students must arrive at the test center 30 minutes before the scheduled entrance time to register for the test. Under normal circumstances, you will have to wait in the waiting room until it is your turn and you know that you have been called the test number or your name before entering the examination room. Remember, you need to sign in when you enter the waiting room, if you don't sign in, you will be regarded as not attending, and it will even affect the subsequent call, causing yourself a lot of trouble, and it will outweigh the loss.
Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, the speaking test is very important, and I hope you must pay attention to these three points before the test, so as to be fully prepared.

IELTS has 4 parts.
The IELTS test consists of four main parts, namely listening, reading, writing, and speaking, among which the common types of listening questions include multiple-choice, short-answer, fill-in-the-blank, graphic, and pairing.
1.IELTS Listening.
IELTS Listening is the first part of the test, which is generally a monologue or a two-person or multi-person dialogue, with a total of 4 units and 38 to 42 questions.
Common question types in the Listening section include multiple-choice questions (similar to multiple-choice questions in TOEFL with alternate options), short-answer questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, chart questions, and matching questions.
2.IELTS Reading.
The General Training and Academic Reading papers in the IELTS test are completely different.
Academic Reading: There are only 3 passages in the entire reading paper, the length of the passage varies from 700 to 1500 words, and the candidate must complete the reading and 38 to 42 questions in 60 minutes, and the test focuses on the candidate's grasp of the basic structure of the passage and some important information.
3.IELTS Writing.
There is a difference between the General Training and Academic Writing sections of the IELTS test.
The duration of the exam is 1 hour and candidates are required to complete two passages. The first essay requires 150 words and the second essay requires 250 words.
4.IELTS Speaking.
The difference with the TOEFL test is that IELTS candidates are not faced with the pre-recorded standard test questions, but have to face the examiner directly for a 1v1 interview.
-
1. Listening. IELTS Listening is the whole part of the test, which is generally a monologue or a conversation between two or more people, with a total of 4 units and 38 to 42 questions, and the questions in the General Training and Academic listening sections are exactly the same. The difficulty of the 4 units is sequentially increased.
The first two units focus on various scenarios of social status and interpersonal relationships in daily life, such as conversations about accommodation, food or shopping.
2. Read. There are various types of questions, such as matching questions, short-answer questions, sentence completion, choosing paragraph headings, chart questions, and so on. The length and genre of the essay are not as fixed as those of TOEFL reading, but the content is something that candidates must face in their life abroad.
3. Writing. There is also a difference between the General Training and Academic Writing sections of the IELTS test, which are both 1 hour long and require candidates to complete two passages with a word count of 150 words and a second essay of 250 words. The general training questions require candidates to write a letter according to the situation set by the question, and the content is mostly related to daily life, such as complaining, applying for a job, asking about the situation, etc.
4. Speaking. The TOEFL test does not have a speaking section, and candidates who want to apply for a teaching assistant scholarship often have to take the speaking test again. Unlike the TOEFL test, IELTS test takers are not faced with pre-recorded questions, but have to face the examiner directly for a one-on-one interview.
This is one of the reasons why IELTS is becoming more and more recognized.
