    Build a PCB library file under the engineering file and you can draw, and ask if you don't understand.

    Protel DXP Drawing Component Package and Precautions:

    1.Go to the drawing package page: file---new---pcb librariy

    2.To draw a package, the most important thing is to draw the same size as the actual component, otherwise the board will not be able to insert the component. Therefore, it is necessary to set reasonable parameters.

    Open the Preferences window: Right-click on the page---option.... -library option…This is the Board Options window.

    First, change the unit of measurement to the "meter" system: in the measurement unit, change imperial to metric. Snap Grid is the setting of the distance for each square mouse movement.

    I usually set x and y to 1mil, and the distance to move is the smallest, that is, the highest accuracy.

    Visible Grid is a visual grid. It is the size of the grid displayed on the page, and the components are measured in millimeters, so grid 1 and grid 2 are both set to 1mm (you need to enter 1mm yourself). The visible grid edge length is 1 mm.

    In this way, when measuring the size of the component with a ruler, it is easy to know the length of the drawn line here, and there is no need to measure it with the "place standard dimension" tool. Everything else can be done by default.

    3.The next step is also very important, that is, be sure to draw the component package in the center of the page, otherwise the drawn package will appear in the PCB page like this: click on the component package, the mouse will run to other places, so it will be difficult to lay out the components.

    This phenomenon is mainly due to the fact that the center of the encapsulation of the painting is off.

    The solution is simple, click on a pad "place pad", then hold down the "Ctrl+End" key on the keyboard, and the mouse arrow will automatically run to the center of the page and drop that pad as a marker. In this way, you can draw the package with that pad as the center. After drawing, delete the pad that is positioned.

    Just create a library, draw in it, and add it to the library.

    This possible question is:

    1: You are not connected in the schematic, or you are not connected, this needs to be double-checked;

    2: The pin number of the component in the schematic is inconsistent with the pin number of the PCB package, for example, the pin number of the schematic diagram is 1, 2, 3, and the pin number of the PCB package is A, B, C;

    3: When the network is imported into the PCB, the package library made by yourself is not installed.

    4: The package name of the schematic is inconsistent with the package name in the PCB package library.

    jianghe706 comprehensive, but the fourth one may not exist because it can be imported into the PCB, but there is no network. The first possibility, especially the third possibility, is that many beginners don't name the "component name" at all.

    When drawing a schematic library file, the pins (pins) placed are directional, and there are four small white dots at one end of the black horizontal bar to connect the wires, and the other end does not.
