Here's how to fix it:

Check 1: Check that the broadband line of the router line (the home network cable or the network cable from the "cat") needs to be connected to the WAN port of the router, and the wired computer is connected to any LAN port, and observe and confirm that the indicator light is normal.

If the line is connected correctly, but the indicator light of the WAN port does not light up, check whether the wiring of the WAN port is in poor contact, and try to replace the network cable connected to the WAN port. ）

Check 2: Confirm the Internet access mode, log in to the router management interface, and confirm that the WAN port access mode is PPPOE dial-up in the Running Status >> WAN port status. If not, follow the setup wizard to set up your router again.

Check 3: Check the dial-up failure prompt On the management interface of the router, click Running Status >> the status of the WAN port, if the WAN port does not get the IP address, there will be a prompt for the reason for the dial-up failure.

Troubleshooting 4: Line adaptability.

Due to aging, poor quality or too long line, the attenuation of the line is too large, and the number is unsuccessful. Try adjusting the rate and duplex mode of the router's WAN port.

Setup method: Log in to the router management interface, click Network Parameters >> WAN port rate mode, select 10Mbps half-duplex or 10Mbps full-duplex mode in the mode setting, and click Save.

Check 5: Bind the MAC address to connect the computer that was previously connected to broadband Internet access to the LAN port of the router (here it must be connected by wire), and log in to the management interface of the router. Select Network Parameters >> MAC address clone, click Clone MAC address.

When the MAC address is the same as the MAC address of the current management PC, click Save and restart the router.

You see if there is a router on it, if there is a router on it, the router may be aging, you can try specifying a fixed IP address. If there is no router directly connected to the optical modem, look at whether the dial-up connection password is correct, or if it is not connected, it may be a problem with the optical fiber line.

4. IP address conflicts.

1. If the use environment is the company's LAN, hotel, rental house and other environments, the IP address range used by the front-end network of the router is the same as the address block of the router, and the WAN port cannot obtain the IP due to IP conflict.

2. Solution: Log in to the management interface of the router, click Network Parameters, and change the IP address of the router to an IP that is not in the same network segment as the LAN port in the LAN port settings (you can try, save and restart the router.) As shown in the figure below:

Reset the router, select the correct broadband connection mode (PPPOE, dynamic, static), and enter the correct broadband account and password. Check whether the physical circuits and device interfaces are normal. Consult the ISP for troubleshooting whether the account expires, renews, or other ISP equipment failures.

Connect the WAN port cable directly to the PC, set up a dial-up connection, see if you can get the IP, if you can, you need to change the router, if not, see the second step.

If it still doesn't work after the first test, you need to contact the operator, check the error of dialing failure**, and send the high-speed carrier.

The preceding methods can eliminate the fault that the WAN port does not obtain an IP address and solve the problem.

It means that the external network port is not connected to the network.

1. Check whether the WAN port indicator of the broadband line connection router is always on or flashing, if not, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot;

Open the browser, enter the management interface to open the router, and enter the management account of the router "admin admin" in the pop-up login box.
