The National CAD Grading Examination is a large-scale standardized examination designed and developed by the National CAD Grading Examination Center under the auspices and leadership of the Ministry of Education, and is held twice a year. The exam is intended for all people in mechanical, construction, and other related industries who use CAD-related software, including AutoCAD, Caxaeb, UG, PROE CATIA, CIMATRON, SOLIDWORKS, etc.

Students from colleges, technical colleges, vocational and technical colleges, as well as engineering and technical personnel from enterprises and institutions can participate.

The National CAD Level Exam is divided into the following 5 levels:

Class I (2D-CAD application);

Level II (2D-CAD Advanced Applications);

Level III (3D-CAD application);

Level IV (3D-CAD Advanced Applications);

Class V (3D-CAD program development).

The exam takes place on a Saturday or Sunday in June or the second week of December and lasts for 120 minutes.

The guiding ideology of the AutoCAD engineer certification examination is not only to facilitate the demand for professional engineering design talents in the fields of mechanical design and architectural design, but also to promote the improvement of the teaching quality of various related courses in higher education and vocational education. The examination targets are candidates from universities, graduate schools, colleges and technical colleges, and engineering and technical personnel of enterprises and institutions.
