1. Prepare Windows 2000 discs.
2. Start the computer and press the delete button to enter the BIOS setting interface of the motherboard.
3. Set the optical drive to boot: after entering the BIOS, according to the motherboard you said, please use the arrow keys to find Boot, press Enter to open, select the arrow keys Boot Device Priority CD *** Drives Press Enter to enter, the options are floppy, hdd-0, etc., of course, there are cd-rom options, press the page up or page down key on the keyboard to select cd-rom, press enter, Then press F10 (load the disc into the optical drive), press Enter to save and exit the BIOS settings, and the computer will automatically restart.
4. After restarting, the computer will boot from the CD and display the installation wizard interface, you can follow the prompts to install and set up step by step. The options menu is not quite the same after boot on different installation discs, but it's pretty much the same, you just need to first select "Install..." in the disc promptsystem" on it.
5. The general steps are: press enter to confirm and continue the installation; Accept the license agreement by F8; Select the location you want to install is generally the C drive, press Enter; Select the file system, NTFS is recommended, press Enter; A disk scan will be entered, and the installer will be copied to the hard disk; The computer will restart after 15 seconds, press enter to restart immediately; Boot from the hard disk to continue the installation process, at which point the GUI mode begins, and in this interface, the automatic installation takes place in six steps: install the device, install the network, copy the file, install the start menu, register the components, and save the settings.
These six steps of today's computer generally take about 30 minutes.
6. After the system installation is completed, it will automatically reboot into the desktop, and install your motherboard driver at this time (generally as long as the sound card and graphics card are installed, most of the network cards are recognized by the system, and of course they must be installed if they do not recognize). Since the motherboard model is different, the driver installation method is also different, so I will not go into detail here to avoid misleading!!
7. You're done, install the software you need!! Be sure to pretend to be anti-virus first.
