The third sister likes to sing mountain songs, and young people from near and far sing against the third sister, and there is no one who can win. Li Shitian, a young man who guards rice mills in Jian Village, is hardworking and simple, and asks to learn songs from the third sister of Hanshu. Mo Renhuai, the rich man of Mo Village, saw that the third sister was beautiful and good at singing, and wanted to be accepted as a concubine.
The three of them came to Guangdong to sing against the third sister, but they were defeated by the third sister.
At this time, Li Shitian had learned a good song and often sang duets with the third sister. Mo Renhuai was filthy and immoral, making things difficult everywhere, and finally cut down the grapevines, causing the third sister to fall into the river. The third sister floated to Liuzhou, sang with Li Shitian in Liyu Peak in Liuzhou, sang for three days and three nights, and drifted away.
Later, he sang to the Seven Star Rock in Guilin, sang for seven days and seven nights, and became a pair of yellow warblers and flew away.

Scholars who hold the view of "historicization of myths and legends" are represented by Zhong Jingwen.
