Shelley did not write such a poem. I'm afraid you're talking about Xue Yang, a modern Chinese poet.
Xue Yang, the general manager of the poetry magazine "Sakai Garden" in Australia, is known as a poet's family (Daughter and Xiang Xiang have published four books). Formerly known as Yang Shanlin, he was born in Huaining, Anhui Province in 1962 and received a master's degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985. He lived in England for 10 years and received a PhD from Liverpool University in 1993.
In 1999, he moved to Australia to engage in comprehensive research on the harmonious development of humanities education and the natural environment. He has published 5 educational monographs, including "Sharing Family" and "Quality Education Abroad", and 3 poetry collections, including "Another Life".
Isn't it this one:
Choice》There are people on every road in Xueyang.
Everyone has a sky above their heads.
There are unpredictable clouds in every side of the sky.
Every cloud is a sign of destiny.
Choose your direction silently.
A star or an eye.
How man chooses the world.
The world chooses people as it chooses.
Silently choose the starting point.
Proudly choose to return.
The one who chooses the dawn at night.
Dawn chose him as the wind of freedom.
Choose a bird or a fallen leaf.
Choose rocks or a puff of dust.
Who chooses among the non-selectable.
He is the chosen one.
Everyone has a nameless heart.
Every heart has a time of loneliness.
Who chooses the lonely world.
The world chooses his singing.
Meteors sink in the selection.
The sun rises in the selection.
Beijing, May 1983.
