The origin of Meizhou.

Meizhou, formerly known as Meiyuan, is located about 2 kilometers north of the city. Meizhou River enters Meizhou from Luoshi Liujingfanglou, Nanling Township Qianfang, Jiangkou Second Village, Yantan and Nanwan, so it is named "Meixi".
