Mr. Lu Xun's "The True Story of Ah Q" has a classic and profound portrayal of many vivid characters, especially the image of the protagonist Ah Q is the most deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Although I once listened to the teacher very carefully in the middle school Chinese class, and later read this classic many times, I also knew a few terms such as "Spiritual Victory Method", "Son Beat Lao Tzu", "Mrs. Zhao", etc., and I was also trying to avoid self-anesthetized life attitudes such as "Spiritual Victory Method" in my life, but I still recently found another place in myself that is the same as Ah Q. This trait is not as well-known as the Spiritual Victory Method, but it affects not only oneself, but often those who are weaker than oneself. What exactly?
That is, after being hit by the strong or the painful or the defeated or even the unlucky, the resentment has nowhere to be released, and the head is bullied to the weaker to regain psychological balance.
Sometimes just because I'm in a bad mood, I will say hurtful things to the people around me, especially those close to me. Although when I said those words, I knew in my heart that I was actually unreasonable, but it was because of the forbearance and compromise of others that I was a little unscrupulous!
Today, I re-read "The True Story of Ah Q" again, and when I read that Ah Q was bullied and didn't dare to resist, but turned to bully the little Nikai sedan aunt who was weaker than him, I suddenly woke up: Am I not Ah Q? Why didn't I, when I was bullied by life and couldn't resist, turned my head and poured my resentment on the weaker than myself?
What's more, it's still the relatives around you?
After thinking about it for a while, I decided to apologize to my loved ones who were hurt by my words in the past few days, and I did. After apologizing, I remembered another famous sentence of Mr. Lu Xun: The brave are angry, and they draw their blades against the stronger; The cowardly is angry, but draws his sword against the weaker.
Although on the surface, I am not weak, but the facts prove that I am the real weak!
In the past, when I mentioned Ah Q, I often laughed it off, feeling that I was far away; Only now did I realize the greatness of Mr. Lu Xun, the profundity of his observation, and the shallowness and arrogance of myself. What's more, Mr.'s article has been published for almost a century, and a century later, my shortcomings are still picked out by Mr.'s article, and I don't dare to say anything more except admiration and shame.
Learn from the past.
I hope that when I encounter problems or difficulties in the future, I can also find answers and guidance from the classics, and I will not become a blind weak person again.

Ah Q is an image of a peasant who has been severely harmed both materially and spiritually. He lives at the bottom of society, oppressed and humiliated, but instead of facing up to his miserable position of oppression, he comforts himself, even when he is humiliated and even beheaded, he thinks that he is a spiritual "victor".Later, people often used Ah Q as a synonym for this "spiritual victory method" that comforts oneself with imaginary victory.
He is arrogant, self-contemptuous, bullying, numb and forgetful, and so on. It is through the vivid depiction of the spiritual victory method of Ah Q that Mr. Lu Xun shows that this universality lies in"The soul of the people"How numb the psychiatric disorders. Ah Q is very poor, so poor that he only has a pair of pants left, and he doesn't even have a name.
However, his pathos lies not primarily in the deprivation of material living conditions, but in the distortion of his spiritual life. He was pressed to the bottom of Weizhuang's life, and anyone could bully him, but he didn't care, and often seemed to be very proud. This is the key, is that he has a unique method of spiritual victory, and he is clearly beaten, but he thinks:
This is the son beating Lao Tzu.

For the spirit of Ah Q, at that time, Lu Xun was to attack the ignorance of the Chinese people, and sometimes the spirit of Ah Q, that is, the spiritual victory method, can help us get through the darkness and persevere to the light. This was determined by the background of the times at that time, and of course there were certain limitations.

Ah Q is the protagonist of Lu Xun's novella "The True Story of Ah Q". Ah Q is a poor peasant who is exploited and oppressed. He thought that the revolution was a rebellion and hated it, but when he saw that the ruler was panicking in front of the revolution, he asked to join the revolution, and in the end Ah Q was killed.
Ah Q is one of the typical representatives of China before and after the Xinhai Revolution, and Lu Xun's exquisite portrayal of Ah Q effectively satirized some old Chinese with ugly hearts in the society at that time, and severely criticized the corruption and ignorance of the people at that time.
Ah Q is a simple and hard-working person who "cuts wheat and cuts wheat, cooks rice, and supports the boat", and even the "old man" praises him for "really being able to do it".Therefore, he also has the characteristics of an ordinary peasant: he is disciplined, hardworking, and wants to live a peaceful life.
However, under the persecution of feudal clamping forces and numb spectators, Ah Q's fate of wanting to "pay attention to human ethics and worldly affairs in society" with diligence is often destroyed by contempt, so there is often a strange emotion in his heart - looking for an individual's spiritual home (perhaps to dispel the painful emotion), that is, some strange self-esteem "spiritual victory method" shown in the articleAh Q has no home, no relatives, no reason, alone, lives in Tugu Temple, lives by working part-time jobs, has a narrow life circle, and too much physical and mental pain ** out of his somewhat extreme thoughts: "All the residents of Weizhuang are not in his eyes"; It's even a little ridiculous:
My son will be much wider than Mrs. Zhao and Mrs. Qian's son! This self-esteem idea does have the travel traces of "going around looking for a home with a nostalgic impulse" (the words of the German poet Novalis) and "I have no homeland in my life, and peace of mind is a place to return" (Bai Juyi's poem). And it makes sense.

Ah Q's personality is complex and changeable, but its core is the "spiritual victory method", that is, in the face of actual humiliation and defeat, using a self-deprecating and self-oriented method, and using imagination to achieve spiritual satisfaction and victory. Ah Q's other personalities also include self-esteem and arrogance, self-contempt, self-deception, bullying the weak and fearing the hard, etc.

The spirit of Ah Q (the method of spiritual victory) is neither one of the general weaknesses of human beings, nor is it the decadent and declining mental state of the rulers of the exploiting class, but the entire unsound psychological state or habit of the small producers with the traditional peasants as the main body, and the root of it lies in the vast sea of small production with a long history and strong tradition. Lu Xun broke through all traditional thoughts, traditional techniques, and traditional aesthetic concepts throughout the ages, and created "My Ah Q", which is teaching people to "introspect", urging people to renew themselves, emancipating the spirit, breaking through the cage, realizing human modernization, and eliminating poverty, ignorance, backwardness, barbarism, and imprisonment, so as to complete the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
"The True Story of Ah Q".The depth of understanding is:"The True Story of Ah Q".Through the portrayal of Ah Q, a typical character in a typical environment, it exposes the various spiritual inferiorities of the old Chinese people in the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society with the "Spiritual Victory Law" as the main pillar, and profoundly reveals".Xinhai RevolutionThe incompleteness and the root cause of the failure have extremely strong practical significance. >>>More
