The interview and delivery location of the French student visa cannot be chosen arbitrarily, and needs to be divided according to the consular district to which it belongs.

So far, there are five interview centers in France, which belong to the French Education Service Center (campusfrance), which are in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Wuhan; There are six visa delivery centers, which are divided into Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan and Shenyang, and each person chooses the location of the interview and visa delivery according to the location of his or her household registration or passport application.

So, how did you choose the location for the interview to study in France? This is usually related to filling out the pastel registration**. Every student who wants to take a French exam or study in France needs to register on the pastel system, when filling in the basic personal information, the city and address are very important, generally the system will be based on which consular district you fill in the city and address belongs to which consular district you belong to default as a student of the consular district.

Therefore, if you are only temporarily living in a bridge city, please fill in the place of household registration or passport application. There are two different situations: 1. If you are studying in a city other than the place where your hukou is located or where your passport is processed, you can choose to attend the interview and visa in the city where you go to school, please fill in the city and address where the school is located, even if the hukou has not moved to the school, it doesn't matter, you only need to provide the official student ID card of the school during the interview.

2. If you have been living in a city other than the place where your hukou is located or where your passport is processed for a long time and you want to apply for an interview and visa there, you need to provide a valid temporary residence permit for more than six months provided by the police station of the city where you live.

Please note: This is only for students who are involved in cross-consular districts, and students in the same consular district are not required to do so. For example, if a student from Wuhan is studying or living in Beijing and wants to attend an interview visa in Beijing, he or she needs to follow the above method. Students of Shandong origin do not need to provide the above documents if they are studying or living in Beijing, because their place of origin also belongs to the Beijing consular district.

In the event that you have chosen the wrong interview location and need to make a correction, please contact the French Education Service Center of your chosen consular district in time to provide a reasonable reason and ask the staff to correct the interview district before proceeding with the interview appointment step, otherwise it will delay a lot of time.
