2. Clinical symptoms.

The well-developed flock suddenly became ill and died, and the group was depressed, lost appetite, and decreased feed intake by about 50. Sick chickens are reluctant to move, their feathers are unkempt, their combs are pale, they have difficulty breathing, and they excrete yellow-green thin feces.

3. Pathological changes.

Select the well-developed sick chickens and dissect them, and it can be seen that the laryngeal hemorrhage, pericardial effusion, heart enlargement and softness, myocardial thinning, liver enlargement, paleness, brittleness, and gray-white necrotic foci appeared. The cecal tonsils are swollen, and some intestinal lymph nodes are swollen and protruding. In some sick chickens, the kidneys are enlarged, the lungs are congested and grayish-white exudate appears.
